Top 10 Rejected HQ Locations
By Carolyne "Miss Fantastic" Smythe

As every fan of the Fantastic Four knows, their headquarters are currently and have been in New York City for quite some time. But, have you ever wondered if they have considered other locales for their home? I have, and as hard as it is to believe, perhaps New York City was the best choice...

10. Green Bay, Wisconsin (This was in strong consideration, until they decided they would not want to be called the Fantastic Four Cheeseheads.)

9. Orlando, Florida (Believe or not, the original site of the headquarters was going to be where Cinderella’s castle stands. And it was look very similar...)

8. The North Pole (This was about to be a done deal, until the F4 found out there really is a Santa Claus.)

7. Bugtussle, Tennessee (Oh, if Reed Richards had known how rich that land was in "Black Gold" and "Texas T"...)

6. Hooterville, Tennessee (A fast talking man named Mr. Haney tried to sale them a silo claiming it made for a nice skyscraper headquarters.)

5. Las Vegas, Nevada (The F4 felt it would not do their image any good to say they lived in Sin City.)

4. Newark, New Jersey (What is special about Newark? Nothing, as the F4 found out when they arrived there.)

3. Podunk, ? (Hey, the location of Podunk is for them to know, and for you and me to find out!)

2. Washington, D.C. (The F4 decided they already had enough evil to deal with around the world!)

and the number one rejected city for the Fantastic Four’s home is...

1. Doomstadt, Latveria!
