Die By Music |
By Michael James Mead |
I’d like to die by drowning in music, And where I exist, I would cease to exist. And if I could breathe under the sea, I would stay where no one can find me. I like to drive the highway all night, never stay and never arrive. I’d like to die rich and famous, And when I go, they’ll say "what a tragedy". And if I could fly like an angel, fly so high they'll never catch me. I like to sit and stare at the moon, it's never too late and it's never too soon. If I could bleed until I can see through these lies called reality If I could burn until I am sure the pain we feel is not really real If I could freeze in frozen memories of all the things that I wanted to be If I could drown, I’ll hang my head down fade to grey as my life fades away © Michael James Mead |
