Obituary - "A memorial service will be later for Vera Austin, who died Aug. 27, 1997, at age 84.
Mrs. Austin was born Feb. 25, 1913, in Seattle. Her maiden name was Johanson. In 1938, she married Fred.
Survivors include her husband; sons, Richard L. of Milwaukie and Fred R. III of Eugene; daughter, Karen L. Stutheit of Albany; brother, Robert Johanson of Beaverton; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Interment will be in Lincoln Memorial Park. The family suggests remembrances to Kaiser Permanente Hospice. Arrangements are by Lincoln Memorial Park Funeral Home."
