That's a good question, and maybe I can answer it for you.

Llanon is short for Ludicrous Loves Anonymous. L - L -Anon. Get it? ^_^

It was started a couple years ago as a support group/mailing list for us silly people who were in love with Anime characters. Where a few friends could get together and say, "Hey, how about that Xellos, hmmmm? Uh huuuuh, baby. Tell me YOUR secrets..." Or maybe, "Hotohori-samaaaa..... You swing that sword around, you hunka Seishi you..."

And so on.

But we started to run out of things to say. And soooo.. we brought in the crazies to say things FOR us. Any characters we'd had running around in our heads over the years were forfeit. Muses, voices, characters, alternate personalities; whatever you'd chose to call them, they were here to stay.

Eventually, we had whole mobs of minna running about the mailing list, so we decided to turn it into more of an RPG of all these characters in a hotel - The Infamous Llanon Hotel, where the refrigerators are never empty, the holes in the walls always fix themselves; where there's always enough room in the lobby for EVERYONE; where someone's always around to heal any minor - or major - wounds, and where most everyone isn't QUITE what they seem to be. The more people that joined the ml, the more complex and strange the characters and relationships became.

Two years passed on Llanon, and with minna's relationships came.... CHILDREN! It was kind of hard to wait for them all to grow up and be happy, angst-filled, useful characters, so we split off another mailing list from the original Llanon, and created Llanon: The Next Generation.

We'll see how that turns out. ^_^
