Fish in pond
Topic: fish
Today I put five white cloud mountain fish (Tanichthys albonubes) into my fish pond.  It's really just a round rubber horse trough, about 20 gallons of water.  The fish live in an aquarium all winter because they'd freeze outside.  But now the mosquitoes are flying, so I want the fish there to eat the larvae.  The fish love it, and fatten and color up every summer.  I've experimented with other species, and the white clouds are the only ones I've found that consistently survive.  It's too small for goldfish.
