year 2019 had an ADAM-Bomb explosive amount of GPK licenses that were in discisson
by the end of 2018 and the beginning 2019 where news began to hit the interwebs
as early as January and merchandise began hitting online and on store shelves
by mid-March. Alphabetically the successfully licensed agreements with Topps for
the Garbage Pail Kids brand included FYE®, Geeki Tikis®, Greenlight®,
Jago Studios, Spencer's® — in collaboration with Ripple Juction™,
Mondo, Sprayground®, Trends® International and WWE® — in collaboration
with Ripple Juction™ and Chalk Line Apparel, and Super7® — in collaboration
with Universal Studios Monsters™ with sales at Hot Topic. Pre-existing licenses
saw new merchandise from Creepy Co.® and Fright-Rags. There also exists pending
deals or limited product released by other licensees. |

that had a March release date but was intended for April and dropped early. Other
items were leaked to social media in early April by a FYE buyer that showcased
a GPK cereal with two exclusive stickers with brand-new artwork by JOE

summer, early autumn release period with several different dates noted online.
Early packaging mock-up images hit diecast collector websites the first week of
January and showed an ADAM Bomb mascot with a the slime green color packaging
very reminiscent and associated with the All-New Series release of 2003. The packaging
stated 'SERIES 1' and also showed a 'PEELABLE
STICKER' on the frontside as an extra incentive that would appeal to both
GPK sticker card collectors and diecast car collectors alike. Series 2 coming

partnership announcement occured on Facebook on April 10th where Greenlight also
mentioned that the release window was closer to August and not Sept/Oct. The 'PEEL
HERE' arrow can be seen on the backside of the packaging on the front side
of the card images, but is not located on the actual printed card on the frontside
of the packaging; the arrow can be found printed on the backside of the six 'GREENLIGHT
COLLECTIBLES STICKER' cards. The product was added to website catalogs

involved a contract with Ripple Junction™ and WWE® and included a
WWE + GPK-inspired wrestling characters on T-shirts, hats and a
limited edition trading card set (Topps online only); see the '2019 Online Sets'
section for more detail. Topps, Spencer's and WWE all shared merchandise the second
week in March. Artists JOE Simko and BRENT Engstrom tag-teamed and worked on the
pro-wrestling project together; both Simko and WWE Network announced the release
on social media on March 11th, 2019. Product
was also to drop at Spencer's around July/August 2019 in time for the WWE SummerSlam

The GPK Sprayground backpacks came sealed within a shark-jawed 'Rip Me Open' plastic bag and a GPK-specific Sprayground product tag that contains a parody character sticker titled Sharky MARK. The 'Marky Mark'-like nomeclature is combined with several symbols, labels and mascots found within the Sprayground universe. The business partners' initials, 'David Ben David' (DBD), that started Sprayground in 2010 can be found on the character's right-hand.  Artist Joe Simko, who painted all twelve characters for the card set, based his monsters and backgrounds on the great Basil Gogos Famous Monsters (of Filmland) cover illustrations from the 1960s. The original Creature™ artwork for card #12 had much more pink and blue hues on the creature's face and hand exactly like Gogos' final artwork, however, this was 'reeled' back for the final card image and green hue was added to the face and hand of the creature. The Creature™ character was also used as the original line artwork for the wrapper mock-up image by artist Joe Simko as seen above, but was replaced by the Revenge of the Creature™ character from card #5 by in-house staff at Super7.

Geeki Tikis GPK mugs will have a full initial launch at NYCC 2019. Beeline Creative,
Inc., based out of southern California, is a toy and consumer products company
with offices in Marina del Rey, Hong Kong and China, founded in 2013 by Brandon
Giraldez. The Beeline company creates a variety of novelty products including
drinkware, housewares, bobbleheads, action figures, etc. The Beeline Creative
company already had a pre-existing license with Topps for their Mars Attacks!

is an American company known for releasing apparel based on horror films and other
horror-related media. The company was founded in 2003 by Ben Scrivens, and is
based in Rochester, New York. — Wikipeida In 2014, Fright-Rags™ obtained a license from the Topps Company, Inc. with an agreement to produce an apparel line of GPK-related merchandise that has lasted over several years including: 2014, 2015, 2018 and 2019 — with all artwork completed by artist Brent Engstrom. For the first three releases, the artwork was brand-new and could later be found as bonus cards in Topps GPK set hobby releases. The latest 2019 release was originally a directors-themed t-shirt set of four characters in an ADAM Bomb-style scenario that was brought to a final artwork stage but was cancelled due to possible lack of rights. early sneak peek of three of the upcoming Revenge of 'Oh, the Horror-ible' card
images from the Fall GPK set due to be released in October. A reprint of Plungin'
PENNY from 2015 will also be available to take advantage of the 'IT Chapter Two'
movie release in September. 
The RICK Axe t-shirt was available in a red heather color that ran sizes S-3X with a $28 pricetag; a t-shirt ready mock-up and tight concept sketch is portrayed above; the final artwork is on a red background. Engstrom's parody painting pays tribute to the miner maniac from the My Bloody Valentine cult movie from 1981 and a 3-D remake in 2009. Engstrom had suggested the names 'VAL Entine', 'Bloody BUDDY', 'RICK Axe' and 'Bleeding Heart ART' for the 2019S2 card release. 
The Hit And RON t-shirt was available in a black color that ran sizes S-3X with a $28 pricetag; a t-shirt ready mock-up and tight concept sketch is portrayed above; the final artwork is on a black and blue background. Engstrom's parody painting pays tribute to the murdering mack truck and goblin grille from the Maximum Overdrive cult movie from 1986. came packaged with a sticker trading card. Due to pricing, the statue has not
made it past the prototype stage and a supplier is still being researched. Features
(per mock-up box): LED illumination, premium painted resin, embossed nameplate,
heavy duty base, officially licensed, card-accurate artwork, over 14" tall,
limited edition collecible card featuring John Pound concept artwork, requires
2x AA batteries (not included). Although the statue has yet to be released, the
