The second installment of the Garbage Pail Kids franchise was released in August and September of 2004 in the UK, manufactured by the Topps Europe Ltd. company, associated with Merlin Stickers and released throughout parts of northern Europe. The All-New Series 1 with the catch phrase 'Gross Sticker Cards' and the All-New Series 1 Album set are coloured and marketed much like the U.S. ANS1 set but the 'Gross Sticker Cards' UK set contains images from the ANS1 and ANS2 U.S. sets and the 'Album Stickers' set contains images from the ANS1, ANS2 and various older U.S. GPK sets. The stickers measure roughly the same size as the U.S. cards at 2.5 x 3.5 inches with the album stickers measuring slightly smaller. The 'Gross Sticker Cards' set contains foil cards and the 'Album Stickers' set contains special stickers which are the first chase cards released in the UK. In 2018, the rebranded 'The Garbage Gang' were re-released and printed by Topps Europe Ltd. and released throughout the UK. The set is a direct replication of the 2008 Italy Kakkones set based off of the early U.S. All-New Series releases; many images located within the 2004 UK set pulled from the U.S. 2003 release. This is the first time an international set has been reversed released in the UK, although perhap a 2008 UK was developed but shelved? The cards measure slightly smaller than 2 1/2 X 3 1/2 inches, that are non-die cut; peeling from the edges. A binder accompanied the release. A re-release of twelve 2013 figures from the U.S. Series 1 MiniKins release occured the following year within the UK in March of 2019 and was marketed under the 'The Garbage Gang' label and packaged in cups of 'SLIME'. Each cup of slime cost £2.50 or €4 and came with one character. As with the 2018 card release, consisting of ANS material, the product was published by Topps Europe Limited out of the UK, associated with Merlin Collections. Another 'SLIME' released occurred in Italy under the nostalgic moniker 'Sgorbions' in early 2019 that was an identical release to the UK tubs but with an activity booklet.
