Elijah 1st married Bettie Dowell on Sept. 07, 1895 in Rockcastle Co., KY

Elijah's 2nd marriage was to Orpha Seymour

Elijah's obit says he was born in Rockcastle Co., KY and died in Wallins, Harlan Co., KY. Goes on to say that he was a retired night watchman for National Electric Service Company & Wayner Drive - In Theater. Was a member of the Baxter Masonic Lodge.

Goes on to say that he was survived by his children, Orpha and the following brothers: Jim of Indiana and Frank of Beckley, WVa.

Now speculating on what the obit says, all I've been able to find is a possible match with a Granderson (Grandville) Burke.

Could Grandison Burke b/ 1821 NC be Elijah's father???
