The Garrison's Gorillas Network was, so far as we were aware, the ONLY fan club dedicated to ABC TVs 1968 WWII drama series "Garrison's Gorillas" 1999 was our SIXTH year which made us the longest running GG fan club EVER! At our highest point we had over 150 members, mainly split between the UK and the USA. We issued four newsletters per year - all A4 sized and 12 pages in content. THAT is how it was.

Because the GGN newsletter was totally dependant upon input from the members it was not always easy to fill 12 pages - remember, nothing new had been written about the show for 30 years. With other commitments more pressing, contributions to the newsletters were not so forthcoming as they once were and it was because of this that I had decided to close down the "terrestial" GGN and re-open in Cyberspace!
