CENTERVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT
The Centerville Police Department serves approximately 6000 residents
in a thriving southeastern Iowa city. The Centerville Police Department
is complimented by 12 full-time officers, 10 reserve officers, and 6
communications personnel.CPD is under the direction of Chief Gene Ellis and
Assistant Chief Marion Zemo.
The City of Centerville is located in Appanoose County which is bordered
on the southern edge by the State of Missouri. Centerville boasts of
having the largest town square in America, which adds to it being known
as "America's Hometown." Centerville is known for its outdoor fishing and
hunting opportunities and is home to "Iowa's Ocean" - Lake Rathbun.
