sponsored 'Stories in the Park' for the past four years. It doubles as an Ice Cream
Social ... and Heartland Story League has told stories in the park for every one of those
four years ... This year I added two stories to the agenda -- beginning -- "Ito was a
rock cutter ... .
... with the Rabbi looking at the farmer square
in his eye, in "Too Much Noise."
"You silly man!
Why do you have all those animals in your house; they belong in the barn, or in the field,
or in a chicken coop ... . Go! Put them back where they belong!"
And he did.
And he marveled at how quiet his house had become.
