The family is spread across the
country – we’re in Maine, retired but working a pharmacy counter on weekends, fumbling now and then with furniture
making, doing video work for not-for-profits, and generally enjoying being hermits. Rick’s mom and dad live in
Venice FL, Brett and
Lisa and the baby live in Michigan where Brett is the manager of a Chile’s restaurant, Melanie is a nurse in Tucson and
the other Powis household, as in Rob & Denise, has homes in GA and FL. Their kids are in Atlanta and Nashville…..
Mark and Jayne Owens visited
us once…we watched the launching of a magnificent yacht from Hodgdon Yachts in East Boothbay. I get a Christmas poem every year from Patrick Gainor. I’d say come visit but one
of my running buddies from our time in Rhode
Island came once and never came back
– she said we live too remote. Maybe one road in and one road out and only one stoplight can seem remote if you’re
from away?
Have a great reunion.

What a bunch of blasts from the past! Some Update on me.
Posted by (Deborah)Laura Branam on March 20, 2008, 12:38 pm 75.17.83.177
I'm uncertain why I've not received any e-mails until today regarding the 2008 Reunion.
It would be wonderful for my life events to allow me to attend this Reunion. I'd love to see everyone again! I have lived
far from Terre Haute since I married a New Yorker who graduated from ISU. We moved to NY in 1974, Michigan in 1975, Houston
Texas in 1976, Washington, DC in 1977 and returned to Houston -1980. I divorced in 1984, but remained in Houston where their
father could still regularly see my three wonderful children: Anna-marie (31) graduated with BS in Pol.Sci.is single and lives
in Chicago; Christina (29)degree in Early Child.Educ., married 6 years with 5 yr. old twin daughters, and another daughter
2yrs. her husband a teacher and coach> they live in his hometown in north Texas. It's a 5 hour drive for Nana (me) to visit
them. My youngest, and only son, Aaron (26) graduated from the US Air Force Academy in 2004. He is single, working on a graduate
degree in Military Intelligence while stationed in Little Rock, ARK. He is now a Capt.and will soon be deployed for a 2nd
time to Afghanistan. The Election is weighing heavily on my mind because of this @#*&^%$@@#! War in Iraq! I went back
to college after my divorce and completed my BS in English and Psychology; taught at a private school for a year, then received
my MS in Clinical Social Work in 1989. I have worked in Counseling and mental health since 1989. I'm a Licensed Professional
Counselor and Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Presently, I am a counselor at a posh private catholic girls school in
Houston teaching Character Education and doing counseling. I am ready to leave Houston for a different pasture, even if it's
not "greener." Now, that my children are all over, there's nothing holding me here. It's been such a surprise to have lived
in this BIG CITY of 4+ million for all these years, especially since I always loved the wide open spaces and my horses! Life
has taken some interesting turns! I wish I had a picture of my family to attach, but I'm on a friend's computer. Any one feel
free to write me. Hoping to see you all face to face in August. P.S. I changed my name to Laura after my divorce, when I took
back my maiden name as well: Laura Lynn Branam, if you were wondering.....there were too many Debbie's born in 1950!! ciao`

CLARK FIELDS
I retired after 23 years in USMC aviation here in Hawaii
so decided to stay since I had already lived here for 15 years. I am a program administrator for NOAA National Marine
Fishery Services administering a program through the oldest Native Hawaiian organization in the Islands. I work throughout
the Western Pacific to ensure sustainability of marine resources and the protection of endangered marine mammals. Hey
its really not work since I travel extensively throughout all of the Island nations, places that have not been destroyed by
modernization. And the best part of it all is that I don't have to do time on any boats as I fly to the locations I
visit. The weather here remains fairly constant. Sea temps stay around 83 degrees year round and surface temps
never hit 100. Its rough but hey someone has to do it so it might as well be me. Good hearing from you, don't
know if I will make it back to the next reunion or not but will try. Take care. Clark
My dad may kill me for writing this but since he is email challenged I thought I would at least
update everyone on what he is doing and how he is. "Sammy" as he must have been known in high school graduated, married
the girl of his dreams, Janie Rebecca Fulford of Terre Haute, and went off to Vietnam for a few years. Please forgive my lack
of accuracy since I was not even a glimmer in their eye yet. :) They had 2 children, Eric, who will be turning 31 this year
and me, Tiffany, who will be 28 in March. I am married and my brother is engaged to be married this coming June. My parents
have lived in West Terre Haute since I was very little. They just recently bought a quiet ranch in North Terre Haute that
they are renovating. My dad has been a loyal employee of Alcan for 13 years, PSI for a number of years and his most recent
position is at the Rockville Women's Correctional Facility as the Maintenance Foreman. He is currently off work recouping
from a stint operation a month ago.
My dad enjoys collecting antique and hard-to-find firearms and also finding antique items that
he hopes to sell on Ebay! He must first obtain his own email address. I told him I would charge him a fee to sell it through
my account.:) He is also quite the handyman. They have yet to buy a house that they didn't work on from head to toe. My parents
are also licensed foster parents. In the past year they have provided a safe home for a total of 5 different children under
the age of 15 needing someone to care for them.
If anyone would like to contact him to say hello they can email my mom at janiechilton@direcway.com and he can respond through there.
P.S. I like the website, it's a great idea. I graduated from West Vigo H.S. in 1996 and there
isn't anything like that for us. It's fun to read! Thumbs up for a great job!
A CLASSMATE WANTS EVERYONE TO KNOW:
Well, it's been a long time since 1968 hasn't it? To begin with, you can take
me off of the deceased list. As you can see, I really am not dead. LOL Well, let's see.....
I married Keith Bensley, class of 67 and my high school sweetheart. We divorced in 1971. I married again in 1979. I
married William "Bill" Bartlett (Pimento High School); he was my best friend and my whole world until his death from
cancer inJanuary of 2004.
I managed a restaurant in T.H. for 5 1/2 years shortly after graduating.
I also ran an insurance agency in T.H. from 1979 until I retired in 1997. It was a very interesting occupation with no dull
moments. I keep myself busy with family and my hobbies...which are many. I do woodworking, painting, needlecrafts and lately
a lot of scrapbooking. I have 3 dogs and 1 cat to keep up with and they are a lot of company since my husbands death. Your
website it great and I thoroughly enjoyed it. So did my Sister who is a 1961 graduate from Tech. She is jealous that her
class doesn't have one.LOL I would enjoy hearing from anyone that wants to drop me a line or two. Take care and keep
up the good work!
NORMA DEAN BARTLETT
I have been married twice. one ended in divorce and the second with the death of my husband of 6 years and 4 days from
lung cancer. My first marriage produced 4 children, Ray Jr, Angela, Duane and Jason. I am now living with my boyfriend in
Winslow, Illinois.
We live on a 3 acre farmette. Besides our 2 dogs, a boxer (Zeus) and a boston terrier (Apollo), we have quite a few cats
(farm and house), we have chickens, ducks, rabbits and goats (dairy).
I have one Grandson, Conner, aged 2 and another grandbaby due in Nov. Can hardly wait to see if this will be a boy or
girl, either way it will be loved by all.
I have worked as a cashier and a bank teller. But I am now leading the life of the country. I like gardening, reading
and I bowl in the fall on 2 women's leagues.

ROX ANNA HENSLEY JOHNSON AND HER HUSBAND |
I cant believe Ive gotten this old!!!! I have four children, all grown, and four grandsons. My
oldest daughter, Anna Marie, still lives in Terrible Hut with my four grandsons. My next daughter, Jennifer, lives here in
Indy. She works at AUL in annuities and she and her husband own their own moving company. They dont have children but they
do have three cats, two dogs, a bunny, and a 15-foot boa constrictor. My youngest daughter, Jamie, lives in Phoenix where
she is in her PhD program for anthropologic genetics. My son, Michael, lives here in Indy, works for FedEx, and is working
toward his degree in geology at IUPUI. I work at Eli Lilly in scientific communications and am (slowly) working towards my
PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
I was divorced for many, many years vowing to never marry again, and quite happy not having a
man in my life, and then I met my husband. We married four years ago at a beautiful lighthouse on the Great Ocean Road in
Australia. (No hes not Australian, hes from Indy.) We have a beautiful house on a 60-acre lake and do a lot of traveling.
In the spring of 2001 I heard from Frank. We met with Marty in TH and had a great day! We played
all the old music, shared old and new photos, and went to all the old places we went to as kids. We had so much fun! Frank
even got all misty trying to explain to someone that we had been nearly inseparable as kids but had not seen each other for
35 years. I have also been renewing my friendship with Nancy (Mundell) Martin, my best friend from Woodrow Wilson and beyond
(she went to Wiley).
Ive been remembering a lot of things about those days. Miners Picnic, tag football on the stadium
grounds, Caravan of Stars, sitting in study hall at Wilson when they announced President Kennedy had been shot, playing ditch
in our neighborhood, the Deming park pool, the rats in the boys locker room at Tech, plaster falling on our heads during English
class, piercing our fetal pigs ears during dissection, Henris and ODays, doing the bash, the dog with red eyes in the crypt
at the cemetery, and sledding on Martins hill. So many memories.

Hi Jerry! OK, here is my short bio. My husband, Daryl and
I have been married 22 years. We were both married before and we both had two sons from our first marriage. We
had Jeff together, who is 20 and works for us in our paintball shop.
My oldest son, Scott, lives in Terre Haute and he and his wife Jill have 3 foster children.
They are trying to adopt 2 girls, Mariah, 3, who they have had since she was 8 months old, and Taylor, who is about 1 1/2.
Mariah is black and Taylor is of mixed heritage but they are just as much a part of our family as all our grandkids.
My other son, Chris, lives in Franklin, IN, works for Eli Lilly Co. in Indianapolis and he and his wife Kim have 2 sons, Dallas,
6 and Cody, 3. Daryl's oldest son, James, lives in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and works for a construction company.
He is still unmarried and without children. His other son, Scott, lives in Terre Haute and works for Brentlinger
Distributing. He and his wife, Gibby, have 2 sons, Austin, 3 and Wyatt, who will be 1 in May. Our son Jeff, lives
in Brazil with his girlfriend, Carrie. Jeff works for us full time in the paintball shop. As you can see, we both
have sons named Scott. It was really confusing when they were little. And as for our grandkids, my husband says
he's going to make a cowboy movie starring Dallas, Cody, Austin and Wyatt!
Daryl had kidney cancer in October 2002 which they had to remove one of his kidneys.
He goes for check ups every 6 months. I had breast cancer in 1989 and also uterine cancer in 1997. With all we
both have gone through, we thank God every day for being so good to us. We have a wonderful family, and even though
we have had our share of illness, we appreciate and love each day and each other so much more now.
We started our paintball business about 6 years ago, part time in the front of our barn and
it has grown to full time for me, my husband and son Jeff. I am the bookkeeper and office manager, Daryl and Jeff
both take care of the shop. We have over 10 acres of woods and fields beside our home, and we're located about half
way between Terre Haute and Brazil, 1 mile north of Rio Grande Rd.
Thanks for all your work on the web site and the reunion.
Looking forward to July!

It has been great reading everyone's life updates. I live in Marshall,
Il and have for almost 30 years. I love the small town atmosphere and
it was a great community to raise my two children ( see pic on family page), Kyle 28 and Kristen, 24. Kyle currently
lives near Carbondale, Il and has just started law school after working as a graphic designer for a few years. Kristen is
married and we moved her and her husband to Chattanooga, Tn this weekend. I am having a difficult time with her moving that
far away. She is a physical therapist and her husband is going to school to get a masters degree in counseling.
I am currently working for Covered Bridge Special Education District,
which is associated with Vigo County and surrounding school districts.
I am a school psychologist working with preschool age children with
special needs.
I have been divorced for 10 years and have been dating Roy Stephen for 6 years. He lives near Casey, Il and runs his
own agricultural and environmental research business. Marriage is somewhere in the future but neither of us is in a big hurry.
I am devoted to my two dogs, Zac, a dachsund and Levi, a lab/ retriever mix I found on the parking lot at IGA. I stay busy
singing in the church choir, belonging to several community organizations in Marshall and enjoying freinds and family.

OVER THE YEARS WITH MARTY |

It has been a long time. I guess
you think about old friends over the years and how you should make an effort to reconnect. Then inevitably family
matters take over, and the years go by too quickly.
I left Terre Haute
after graduating from ISU in 72. I married my wife Tania (from Linton IN) on 8/5/72. I taught eighth grade English and
coached eighth grade football at Centerville IN. After four years, I decided I needed to get into a field where I could afford
to care for my family. I tried insurance sales and didn’t like it. I hooked up with Farm Bureau Insurance on 2/28/77. I have been with their claims
division for 31 ½ years now. I have worked in different capacities, and I am presently a Unit Claims Coordinator, another
name for claims manager,
We have four children: Jason,
35; Krista, 30; Joseph, 23; and Autumn, 4. Age four is correct. Obviously, we didn’t think there was a chance of being
pregnant again, but boy were we wrong. Everything turned out great, and we were rewarded with a great little girl on 2/20/04.
We had to learn everything all over again. It has been a unique experience, fun but trying at times. Autumn starts preschool
on 8/18/08. That
should be an interesting experience since we have never had a child go to preschool. I now get to look forward to the things
my older daughter went through: ice skating, marching band, dating, wedding, etc. Well, I always said I would never retire.
We have lived in Evansville IN
since 1979. It is home to us since we have no family left in Terre Haute
or Linton.
I am looking forward to the reunion
and catching up on friendships that have gone too long without reconnecting.
In the immortal words of Coach
Woody Roloff: stay loose, go reckless, and enjoy life.
This is a hard thing to do ,try and catch up for 40 years of being away from people that you were around on a daily basis.
Since high school, I married in 68 and had a daughter ( Shawn Lee Sullivan) still living in Terre Haute, Her mother and I
divorced in 69 and I moved to Columbus ,In to work in 71 ,and have lived here ever since. I always hated that I missed
the class reunion in 88 but I was into racing Moto X and had qualified to ride the national championship which so happened
to be the same week as the reunion,so I choose to race, sorry I missed all of you then, I had said if I ever had a chance
again I would make the reunion ,so I plan on being there this year if any way possible. After moving to Columbus I
met the women of my life and married her in 1973 and we have one daughter ( Amy Jo ) who lives in town near us, that
is good so we get to see some of our 6 grandchildren and 1 greatgranddaughter on a regular basis,LOL then send them home.I
own a co selling cutting tools and supplies to machine shops mostly in southern In. Still as much of a hotrod kid as I ever
was and right now I have only 1 toy, 1953 Ford F-100 pickup, love going to car shows and cruise-ins and just relaxing with
friends and family. Hope everyone stays healthy and safe and can see old friends this year. If anyone would like
to ,please feel free to e-mail me at cmsinc47201@sbcglobal.net
Wow, this is hard! After
graduation I worked for Sears, then Columbia Records, for a short time. Ron (Schulte class of 67) and I married in Aug. of
69, after he had graduated from basic training and AIT in the military. We lived
in Germany, and traveled on weekends and his leave time for the next 2 years. Sleeping
in the back of an old Opal station wagon, we camped our way through Germany, France, Switzerland, and Italy a two-year honeymoon,
courtesy of Uncle Sam.
When we returned stateside, we settled in Seelyville to bring up our two daughters.
I worked part-time as a self-employed commercial artist, usually for other shoestring businesses, and part-time in
retail. Ron was working for IBM in Greencastle when they closed in 1987 and transferred
him here, to Carlisle PA. Ive been working full-time since the move, creating
art for exhibitions, a gallery, and painting murals and the faux finishes that are currently all the rage in home decorating. I work a few evenings a week, at a quaint (right out of a murder mystery) used bookstore. The books are great and the customers are interesting, so it makes a nice change from
the isolation of the art.
Both daughters are married, and we have two grandchildren. After several
severe bouts of yo-yo children, Ron and I finally have the house to ourselves, with the exception of Max our beagle. We live in the Historic District, a block and a half off the square. Built in 1759, our house was turned into a Victorian in the 1890s. Tall and narrow (3 stories, but only
17 ft. wide), it was the first house the realtor showed us when we arrived here. I
loved it on sight, but we looked at 12 others, trying to find something more like Indiana.
When Ron said: If were moving to the East, we might as well live like it, we gave up.
The last couple of years all our spare time has been spent renovating the place (trying to stick the pieces that have
fallen off, back on, while trying to catch the ones that are in the process of falling).
Otherwise, we still enjoy camping (in a tent these days), hiking, visiting nearby cities, and spending time with the
kids and grandkids.

Good morning Jerry,
Thanks for all the info. Back then
when I attended Warren School, we lived on 25th st between 6th & 7th avenue. Janet (Akers) lived on 7th ave.
Now how did I get to Californina !!
Well after graduation, you may remembered - a friend of mine from Gerstmeyer, Geneva Williams. Geneva graduated with
us and the last time I talked to her she was not at work - had been very sick - I called her about 3 weeks ago and have not
heard anything so I will try and contact her this week. She has 3 sons !! We were and still are best friends.
I started working at Columbia Records and she finally got hired there but she did not like working graveyard shift so she
quit. Both of us had sisters in California. Geneva left town first and came to California. My sister only
having in-laws out here convinced me along with the help of Geneva to come out here. My sister lived in Oakland and
Geneva and her sister lived in Berkeley. Well after Vietnam, my brother was in Nam and before he left he made me promise
him I would stay home until he returned. I did and as soon as he came home I left about a month later...I came to Calif
in June of 1970 and been here ever since. I was out here maybe 6 months and Geneva went to Chicago and we have not seen
each other since. We talk all the time but neither one has made the trip - we always say I'm gonna see you this year
but not yet. Geneva left Chicago , went to Minnesota and now resides in Georgia.
My first job in Oakland was thru and agency
and only lasted about 3-4 months. I heard the present company was hiring so I applied at Pacific Gas and Electric and
started working here 2/14/72 and been here ever since. I commuted to SF where the headquarters were located and started out
as a key punch operator, then transferred to Payroll Dept. where I stayed until 1997. During those years I attended
several Jr colleges and moved several times. Now during my courtship back in the day - I dated a young man that lived
in Sacto and I would come visit him occasionally. I like the weather etc here and said if I ever had the chance I will
move there. He does not live here anymore - moved back to his hometown Louisiana. So when I worked in SF this
dept. was building a new facility in Sacramento and I new it was my chance to move. I put in a transfer and accepted
the job. Also I was giving my daughter another start because we lived in Richmond and she needed to get away from the
environment (her no good friends etc.) I had her in private school from 3rd grade until 9th grade) So I moved
to Sacramento and commuted from Richmond, which was about and hrs drive, depending on the weather, for about 3 months and
then I bought a home. I had 3 rotts and 3 cats at the time and it was hard trying to rent a place with pets so I had
no choice but to buy. My dogs have since died due to hip problems but I still have 3 cats. My commute has been
cut down to 10 minutes and I just love it...I work in Bill, Print, Mail dept and all the bills and checks are printed at this
facility. This is the revenue facility !! I still work with payroll only on a different sort. I handle all
checks that go out of PG&E whether it be, employee payroll checks, weekly and monthly, LTD, Pensioners, Workers Comp,
Rebate Checks, etc any check that goes out I have to sign off or pull any check that needs to be cancelled or Special Handled.
I like it plus the $$ is good....I could retire in Nov of next year but I may stay on for at least 3 more years. It
all depends on how my mother is doing in Terre Haute. I still have 2 sisters and mom back there.
My
heart was also broken several times (smile) I thought I had found my "true love" but once again the only thing that
came out of it was my daughter and she was born 10/26/81. I was a single parent and still a single parent. After
a 3 year court ship the guy called it quits and I vowed it would never happen again and I went back to my Church and started
praising the Lord for bringing me thru another situation...I was introduced to a young man at work, which he transferred from
Fairfield and we started dating in 9/2000 , became engaged in 2001 and he broke off the engagement 9 months later. I
has hurt again to say the least. I had always asked him if he was sure about us and he always said Yes - "I love you"
but this was hard for me to believe because he has just came out of a divorce and I did not want to be considered a "rebound"
again he said no I was not and he wanted to spend his life with me. I must have let my guard down and started to
compromise and be more flexible in the relationship and when I did that - WHAM - he called it off and said he had made a mistake
he did not want to get married. He had bought me a 1 carot solitaire princess cut diamond ring which he told me to keep
it - he had bought it for me. I was angry at first and did not wear it but not I wear it on my right hand. He
spent plenty of $$ buying me things which I didn't have to ask for. We still see each other at work and may have dinner
together occasionally but where it will lead to I don't know. I'm just waiting on the Lord to send me who he wants me
to have.
So I'm a grand mother of a 16 mo old grand
daughter and she is the delight of my life. Her and my daughter live with me right now but hopefully they will get their
own place next year. My daughter has been physically abused by just about all the guys she has been involved with but
takes up for them. She needs help !! I have never been in that type of relationship and don't know where she gets
it from. She went to Church with me last Sunday and I didn't have to ask her so the Lord is working on her.
I spent the day in Danville Ca. with two
other girlfriends about a month ago and took pictures - I got the prints back also on disc so I will send you one of me -
it's not that good but it's ME !~!!!
I'm still looking for Janet Akers and
if you hear anything or know her whereabouts please let me know. (CAN ANYONE HELP ?)
Well this is me in a nut shell.
Take care and keep in touch
I am still in Terre Haute. This is my 31st year of teaching-20 years in first grade, 7
as a reading specialist, and am now in second grade and still loving it! I have two years after this before I retire.
My husband, John, class of '66, is assistant principal at TH South and is retiring at the end of this yr. HE loves to play
golf, softball, and basketball. We both love to travel.
Our children are: Mark, married and living in Palm Beach, FL. He and his wife have
been married for 10 years and now have a 9 month old son. Sara, married and living in Lieber State Park. Her husband
is the assistant director there. They have seven yr. old Rachel Candace. Mark is an account executive with USLEC-a
telecommunications company. His wife Stephanie is a federal agent with the FBI. Sara is head of quality control
at IUPUI for the Indiana tissue and eye bank. Our baby, John Paul, is a senior at New York University, majoring in media-studies
and journalism. He is doing his last semester interning with The New York Times. He may continue on with graduate
school and definitely want to live in a large metro-area.
Candace E. McDonnall
I married my high school sweetheart David Jones class of 66. We have been married 34years this
year. We have 2 wonderful children Chris and Jennifer.
Our son Chris and his wife Melissa live in Newport Va. He is a United States Navy diver. They have
2 beautiful little girls Mina 7 and Maxi 2
and a son due in Feb.
Our daughter Jennifer is married to Ryan and they live here in Decatur not far. She is an ophthalmologist
assistant. They have 2 wonderful children. Jackson 5 and Ella 5weeks.
David is a lineman and works from the local. We have lived here in Decatur for 14years. This
is the longest we have every lived in one place. I am a
secretary in the ICU and critical care unit of our little hospital, have a
women's bible study on Saturdays, make doll clothes for my granddaughter and play ninja turtles with Jackson. We love
to take long walks and I still swim as often as possible. Our children and grandchildren have been the greatest blessings
in our lives and we are very active in our church.I am aging gracefully (or at least that's what I like to think) gaining
weight and coloring my hair, but the wrinkles really tell all the true story
Its hard trying to put into words a small bio on oneself. Its hard to know what
to put in or what to leave out. I wont bore everyone with the details of my divorces (2), both were my fault. I will tell
you that I have a great relationship with both. In fact I spent Thanksgiving and Christmas the last 3 yrs at my ex-in-laws
and my ex-wife Peggy. Peggy is the mother of our daughter Sarah Beth. More on Sarah Beth later. (see pic on family page)
Lets pick up after I got out of college and moved to Evansville, IN. I moved to
Evansville because of a job offer and have loved the place ever since and have no immediate plans on moving. The job offer
was in Human Resources and I have been in that field ever since. After a couple of job moves and promotions I find myself
working in Mt Vernon, IN. at an oil refinery. We have 310 employees in 4 states with about a million dollars a day in sales.
I work as I said in HR and love every minute.
As some of you know I love to travel and have been blessed to spend quite a few
vacations in the Caribbean (13). My main reason for going is I love to scuba dive. I have been on over 110 dives and plan
to add to that number this summer when I head to Grenada. Grenada is located 100 miles northeast of Venezuela. Hope to have
some pictures by the reunion. I leave July 3 and will be back before the reunion. I got interested in diving after spending
a week in Jamaica on a honeymoon (2nd marriage). After seeing
all of the underwater beauty I just had to learn to dive.
To bring you update date on my current love life.,none. I have been divorced
for 3 yrs now and dont date much, 3 in the last three years. Some of you helped with icebreaker questions on one date. Didnt
work. So I guess God has a plan on that and I will leave that in his hands.
Speaking of God I gave my life over to the Lord 10 yrs ago and its the
best thing that ever has happen to me. I dont know where I would be now if it wasnt for his love and strength. Some ask if
I love the Lord so much how could I get divorced, because, I, as a sinner still do stupid things. I have made amends with
the Lord on those sins but still have to deal with the actions.
Now for the love of my life, my daughter Sarah Beth. Sarah Beth just turned
21 last month. After spending 2 yrs at ISU she decided to transfer to Salem State just outside Boston. We moved her there
in Aug of last year. She is a junior and studying criminal justice. Her plans are to work for the US Marshall Service. She
has been home on Christmas break for the past few weeks and will return on Jan 18th. She is not sure if she will finish there
or come back and finish at ISU. You would have to know her to understand that. I know here and I dont understand, oh well.
I think that about covers the high-lites and the low-lites of my life.
All in all I have been blessed, the good times have out weighed the bad. I feel good about myself, most of the times, and
still enjoy good health. I plan to do more traveling and diving. Life too short to stay at home and not see the world or at
least parts of it.
Looking forward to seeing all of you at the reunion.
Most of you know that I love to track people down from our class and had
some luck at it. If you are looking for someone let me know if I can help.
Hey Jerry, I dont want to hear anything about hair loss or weight.
Oh well, all in all, its not been a boring 35 years. Since high school
Ive only changed jobs once and that was in 1970. I started with a little woodworking co. called Ft Harrison Prod. for about
1 ½ yrs and then was hired by PSI at the Wabash River Generating Station. Im now in my 34th yr with PSI / Cinergy. My wife Linda and I are hoping to retire together in the next 10 yrs.
While playing at being adult Ive succeeded in fathering 2 of my own children
(Tory 23 and Carly 22) while helping in the rearing of my wifes two children (Daniel 21 and Bryan 19). For the most part they
have all found their way thru the rubble. Although some have returned for a few more lessons in "The world according to Marty"
My daughter and 2 yr old granddaughter Aurora are living with me now and I dont think theyll be leaving any time soon. My
son Tory lives in Texas and works for American Air Lines. My stepson Daniel is in his 4th yr of a 5 yr architectural degree
at Ball State and his brother Bryan is doing a yr of extreme studies at Pendleton penitentiary. Bryan is having some difficulties
in deciding what he wants to be when he grows up. They continue to be a test of my endurance. I want to simplify my life but
they just wont let me. After 3 marriages and 4 children Ive just about thrown in the towel. As a side note, for those of you
who might remember Roberta Christeson (Bertie), she is the sister of my 2nd wife (11 yrs.) Claudia, who is the mother of my
2 children. My current and last wife (12yrs.) was born and raised in the Clinton IN area and thats where we reside
today.
When I have the time to relax you will find me in the yard or the garage.
I dont have any specific hobbies but I do find time to enjoy my pets, 2 dogs (Gold. Retriever and a chow mix) and a Sun Conure
(bird). I spend a lot of time playing with my granddaughter and keeping her out of her mother and grandmothers way. We have
a lot of fun together.
This all brings us up to today, Im looking forward to seeing all of my
old classmates next yr. Lets keep in touch
