Welcome to my Dinosaur Tribute Page. Here you
will find a lot of cool stuff, all pertaining to prehistoric creatures, with a touch of humor added.
I have been a big fan of dinosaurs since I was a little kid (I go
into a lot more detail on that in the "Who Writes This Stuff?" page, if you want to take a gander).
I have collected dinosaur toys since I was a wee lass, and that is
mostly what this site focuses on. There are a handful of sites online that review toy dino-figures, but I include a few (photos
included) that some of the others have omitted. I also offer my thoughts and feelings on some that they have gone in-depth
on. I may not get as technical as they do, however, so for stuff like 'how many molds were used' and 'first and second issues'
and other technicalities, I recommend you visit those other sites (check out my Paleo-linkage page for those). The three best ones, in my opinion, are The Dinosaur Collector, Paleo-Plastic, and Realm
of the Rubber Dinosaur. The fellas that have put together these sites are a lot more knowledgeable than I am.
The main purpose of this page is to discuss dinosaur figures and model
kits in my own words, and maybe cause readers to chuckle a little at my dorky brand of humor. I'm an extensively nostalgic
kinda gal, you see, so the dinosaurs I review hold a special spot in my heart, as most of them are from my childhood. I strive
not to just parrot what other dino-figure reviewers have said here, but to offer my own "slant" on the world of dino-collecting.
Of course, I'd like to add other dino-related stuff as the site matures.
I am thinking of a Dino-Art page featuring some artwork of mine (recent and from childhood). For now, I am busily working
on rounding up all my toy dinosaurs to get photos of them for the review pages.
So...have a "Paleo-riffic" time!
I photograph my dinos with a Fuji Finepix S3100 digital camera.

Well, I thought I would drop in and say that I have
not abandoned this site--just been really busy, so no updates for awhile. I have acquired some new dinos, however,
so I will try to get them posted ASAP.

There's a new site called Kaboodle, where
people can show of their collections of stuff. I have opened an account there with even more dinosaur figures on it. You can check it out here.

I have just about completed my set of Rice / Wheat
Honeys premiums. I'll be putting up a page about them in the Reviews section soon. I haven't had a lot of time to work on this site lately, but decided I had better do something before Tripod
takes it down due to inactivity...

The Marx and MPC review pages are done!

Please note that my e-mail address has changed. I had trouble with
the Lycos e-mail, so I ditched it. You can now e-mail me with comments, suggestions, etc. at adh351t@hotmail.com.

Well. With the crazy hellidaze over, I have been able to get back
to work. The Marx pages are being re-vamped right now.

I really haven't had a lot of time to work on CC lately (not because
I don't want to--time just isn't allowing for a lot of photography lately). Chances are, not a lot will happen till my big
9-day break at Xmas time. So don't worry--it hasn't been abandoned...
C'mon. I know you were losing sleep over it.

There is now a Marx page in Dino Figure Reviews. I still have a little work to do on it, but for the most part it is finito.
9/22/05
Added some more pictures and thoughts to the Imperial page.
9/08/05
A few new additions added to the Paleo-Art page. Also, the page got a makeover.
9/01/05
Smaller scale dinosaurs added to the Ja-Ru page and the Imperial page. The Dollar Dino page is now up -n- running. Yee-haw!
8/24/05
The JA-RU page is now up. I have a little more work to do on it, but it's looking pretty swell so far.
8/23/05
Finally got the smaller scale Tootsietoy figures up.
7/27/05
Put up the AAA site in the figure reviews section. Neato!
6/23/05 - Well, slowly but surely things are getting added to C.C. I finally got some
reviews written up (well, two, but it's a start). Check out the reviews of Diener and Imperial figures.
