In memory of Ben's friend, Jerry Orbach
I've always loved this picture. I posted it after 9/11, and it seems appropriate to post it again. Although not as devestating as the World Trade Center and Pentagon attacks, I feel like we've lost another uniquely American icon. Benjamin Bratt once said he liked to call Jerry Orbach "Mr. New York." He seemed to know everyone and everything in the city. And there is no doubt he was universally admired.
And then there's me
