Openning commentary:

I remember a few years ago, when we played a west coast team, how some of the games when into the wee hours of the night. And I was going to highschool back then! So, I watched the game until I fell to sleep around 1:30am, only to wake up almost two hours later to see the game still on! LOL! Well, I was lucky to see the winning goal though that night, hee hee.

First Game: Thursday April 10, 2003, 7pm

Hello! Okay speaking of late games...Granted that the game ended before midnight, it still took three overtimes. The game started with a goal by Shanahan in the first period. Then later in the period Adam Oates tied the game at one. This was the end of scoring for a long, long time. Then, fairly early in overtime, Luc Robitaille shot the puck at the net. Fans held their breath as they waited for the replay judge to reveal the puck's true fate. Was it a goal, or was it not? Two views suggested that it was. Yet, one final overhead view proved different. The goal merely hit the crossbar. No Goal...Hence the game was pushed farther into second and third overtimes. Shot after shot, save after save. Fans of both sides held their breath, yawned, and cheered. Then in third overtime, Paul Kariya scored, winning the game for the Ducks. But, the real winner of the Ducks was truely Sebastien Giguere who stopped 63 shots. Wowsters!

April 28, 2003: It's been a long time.

Well...I haven't updated this in a while. Yeah, bad me. Well, the Redwings unfortunely lost this series, 4-0. Yes a Sweep :-( But they were still awesome games. All close games, 3 of the 4 being overtime wins.
