Editor’s note: The extra judicial killings of primarily young African men, but also members of the WPA, started long before this government came to power in 1992 and was part of the process of the breakdown and politicisation of the traditional police force.

I grew up in two types of logies. One was a double-storey rested at ground-level  infront of the Hindu and Muslim burial grounds. The other type was  suspended about five feet from ground-level with wooden  blocks behind of Blairmont present cricket ground.
