GUYANA and West Indies middle-order batting `stylist’ Ramnaresh Sarwan is the first player to register three centuries in a single Regional One-Day competition as he continued his rich form to pilot Guyana into the final of the KFC-sponsored tournament.

In yesterday’s first semi-final against the Leeward Islands played at Bourda, the in-form Sarwan batted with aplomb and authority in front of large and cheering home crowd on his way to establishing a new batting record in Regional One-Day cricket, surpassing the previous best tournament aggregate of 408 runs made by Keith Arthurton in 1997. His undefeated knock of 113 took his season aggregate to 457 and also deservedly earned him the Man-of-the-Match.
