Armed bandits early Friday morning
invaded a Tucville home, placed
a gun to a boy’s head and
tied up his mother before carting off
at least GUY$2.5 million in jewellery
and cash.

Vidya Pierre, her two sons- five
and 12 years old- were at home when
the gunmen wrenched grilled and wooden
back doors and gained entry around 2
AM.




When they went upstairs, one of
them cuffed an elderly woman in her
hip, tied Vidya Pierre’s face with a
hammock and placed a gun to the five
year old boy’s head.

The bandits demanded valuables and
a gun.

said she had no gun.

They also entered one of the boys
school bag and packed it up with
liquor from the bar.
In addition to the cash and
jewellery, they also stole cameras,
cellular phones and other valuables.
“The children are traumatized and
couldn’t go to school today,” a
close friend of the family related.
