Three soldiers held in arms probe missing
By Kim Lucas
Four soldiers, three of whom were accused of stealing and selling arms from the Guyana Defence Force (GDF), were discovered missing yesterday morning, even as the Military Police guarded them at the army’s headquarters, Camp Ayanganna.

Up to press time last night, the army was still seeking the whereabouts of the ranks, well-placed sources say.
According to a reliable source, the four privates were discovered to have disappeared shortly after the 5:30 a.m. flag-raising ceremony at the base.
