DEV
Around 1995 was DEV confection the biggest Shirt manufacturer of Morocco. The boss was Mr. Mostapha Shaouwi. In the great days he produced around 10.000 shirts / day and another few thousand trousers and children wear. He employed around 1300 peoples. But he was way to big to survive the confection crisis that came at the end of the nineties in Casablanca. He worked in the shirts mainly for Ives D'orsey from Paris. These Jews squeezed DEV in a relentless price battle to dead. But Mr. Shaouwi remains in my memory as an all time great.
