Hide boxes are not that hard to make or
buy and are essential for good ball python keeping. Below are types of boxes
that are ok for ball pythons, home made and store bought ones are listed. There
are other kinds, but these are the kinds I have used and know about. ^_^
ZooMed's Habbi Hut is good for younger ball
pythons.
Its hard to clean but looks very natural. |
This hiding box is what I use for most cages.
Very easy to clean, and not that ugly. Comes in all sizes too! |
ESU: Rock Dens, fairly
easy to clean.
Natural looking. Great for ball pythons! |
A regular Tupperware box and lid with a circle cut out of the top.
Great for cleaning, great for humidity, but not great for
naturalistic looking cages. |
Clay
Pots. Kind of neat looking in a terrarium.
Easy to clean but hard to make.
You can drill a hole in the sides or bottom and place it upside down
or just place it on its side. Kind of confusing isn't it? |
