Hair Removal History- Lynne's is celebrating 10 years in business!

Electrolysis is the only permanent method of hair removal!  Lynne's Electrolysis is committed to working with her clients to achieve the most aggressive hair removal practices while working safely with your skin.

Most commonly asked questions:

What is Electrolysis?

During Electrolysis, a tiny probe, the same size as the hair, is gently inserted into the hair follicle, down the papilla (the part that nourishes the hair).
A very low electrical current destroys the papilla, ending further hair growth.

Is Electrolysis painful?

Until now the electrical current used in
the process was transmitted in a fixed
intensity, resulting in an unpleasant
sensation.
At Lynnes Electrolysis studio we have moved on to the most modern techniques.

Sequentium VMC is an innovative machine using the patented "Sequential Modulation System" by Silhouet-Tone. During the insertion of the probe, the system modulates the intensity and duration of the current, achieving relatively painless electrolysis. We also advise clients that they may take an over the counter pain reliever (if recommended by your doctor) 30 minutes prior to treatment.

How long does it take?

The number of treatments required depends on several factors:

* The area being treated
* How much hair is involved
* Adherence to the schedule of appointments
* The frequency or previous temporary methods such as, waxing, tweezing and shaving

Is it safe?

As Professional Electrologists we maintain the strictest standards of hygiene. We use only Sterile Disposable Probes/Needles to ensure your complete safety.

Is it really permanent?

Yes! Electrolysis, which utilizes the probe,
is the only permanent hair removal method recognized and practiced by the medical community and licensed electrologists.
