Young MacGregor Rodeo stars

As their mother, Kalin MacGregor, had been brought up riding horses of all stripes in Nova Scotia, so have Kalin's two daughters, Jasmine andHere, Jasmine (9) seriously practices her roping technique before entering the next competition. Leah, ages 9 and 5.

Kalin has any number of riding horses at any one time, with a riding paddock in the back yard.  Jasmine and Leah have followed their mother in her love of horses.

They are both completely at home on horse back, and in their scores of rodeo and riding competitions they love to participate in up and down the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia.

When I asked Kalin if they have ever fallen off the horses, she replied they had but they get right back on.  They often go trail riding with their mother in the nearby mountains.

No wonder they feel comfortable on their horses.  Where some people collect medals and ribbons for bowling or dancing, these girls collect them for steer roping and barrel racing talents.

Not only is Jasmine an accomplished rider and equestrian but she is also a talented musician.  She plays the string guitar and the electric guitar, and has developed guitar fingers (calluses).

Both Jasmine and Leah have started competing younger than what Kalin did, and there is no telling what they will accomplish with the superb training they receive from their mother, what with the superb rodeo facilities in the Okanagan.

Daughters of Dave Keller and Kalin MacGregor, these two girls are somebody to watch in the future rodeo circuit of western Canada and the U.S.

All that talent and good looks to boot, but then I'm a little prejudiced, I'm their proud grandfather.

You can see, they come from a family of horse-lovers.
