First take the door closer and part A-22 out of the packages. Unscrew the adjustment screw ALL the way out of the back of the closer. Mix up a small amount of metal epoxy, stir until thick. Now what you are going to do is push-thread the A-22 into the back of the closer. So, first put a little epoxy on the threads of the closer and push and turn the part in until somewhat tight. Put somemore epoxy around the base of the A-22. Let dry.....
Now get your tubbing, follow instructions on the back of the package for putting the hose into the A-22 fitting part. Now you have an Air Piston, this is very useful for ANY haunt. they are used to move alot of effects. The other end of the tubbing should be connected to a Solenoid for fireing and a PIR or switch. |
