This, in conjunction with Dr. Paulsen's article on
Understanding Behavior Changes in Huntington's Disease, should be the two principal documents for every family of a loved
one with HD. Both documents explain, from different perspectives, what is happening to a person with HD during
the course of the illness. Both of these documents provide better insight into the personality changes perceived
or real. |
Dr. Paulsen's handbook converted to a Word document therefore
it has 46 pages vs the PDF document which has 71 pages. This means that the refernce to other pages in this book will not
be the same. You can still read this book online (See HD Guidebooks), download the PDF document, or order it from the HDSA. In any case......make
sure it is part of your HD Caregiving triad of material along with Dr. Snowden's and the Physician's Guide To HD! |
still has some good information for all HD families today. Discussess: Behavioral Problems, Care,
