Brennan Healing

    "Brennan Healing" is a specific training and unique healing approach developed by the Barbara Brennan School of Healing Science. An internationally recognized 4 year school (5 weeks/yr.), BBSH is dedicated to teaching skills to integrate the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels of awareness. Through the perception of the human energy field, a graduate is prepared to work with clients by charging, clearing, and balancing the human energy field. This facilitates greater balance in health and connects the client to a deeper sense of purpose of life. A Brennan Healing Session can be helpful to ease distress in the body through awareness of how the body can be a mirror for what we believe about life, and therefore how we create health and joy, and also where we block our own creative process and feel Dis-Ease. Brennan Healing is a very powerful approach of self-discovery and transformation. Requirements include self responsibility, positive intent and a willingness to heal life circumstances, and a commitment to your personal path of joy.

Craniosacral Therapy

    This technique is recognized by body workers and medical personnel worldwide.Dr. J. Upledger, an osteopath, developed CST as a technique to release restriction and enhance immunity throughout the body by gently focusing on the craniosacral rhythm of the body. By following this rhythm the practitioner supports the natural unwinding of restrictions in the cranial bones, sacrum, and fascial system, thereby freeing the dural system and the fascia to move in freedom. This results in more mobility of fluids enhancing the immune system, reducing spasm and tightness, reducing headaches, and improving overall posture and health. Most people find this technique extremely relaxing as a very light touch is used to support the process. John F. Barnes Myofascial Release Techniques

    This approach is a safe, gentle, hands on technique involving the fascia, a tough connective tissue which spreads throughout the body in a three dimensional web from head to foot. Trauma posture or inflammation can create a binding down of fascia resulting in excessive pressure on nerves, muscles, blood vessels, osseous structures and organs. It is felt that people in pain may be suffering from restriction of the fascia. The John Barnes approach is a gently sustained pressure to release the pain, and is used in conjunction with other therapies to release stress from the body.

Zero-Balancing

    Zero Balancing combines Western and Eastern concepts or anatomy into a hands on method of aligning energy with body structure. Through the use of gentle, manual fulcrums, ZB helps people become more connected to their body. At present I have taken two courses in ZB with instructors from the Upledger Institute. I am not certified in ZB at this time but do integrate fulcruming as taught in ZB as a 'grounding' technique for individuals who need more contact while working through emotional and physical discomfort.
