Links will not open new windows, use back button to return or close them. On HTML file, to import to your browser, save the page using the right click, view source, save file as whatever you desire to title but with the HTM extention on the file. Next edit all parts off after the closing </html> which is JAVA scripting added by the Geocities server. This should provide you with an importable HTM format file that can be imported into the browser of your choice. In most cases, Open your browser, click on FILE (top left usually) then IMPORT , browse to the file shown and it should import the entire HTM file contents. I suggest you place them in to a folder titled easy_2_confuse_bookmarks. If you need it, here is a link to Microsoft's FAVTOOL download.. PC World FAVTOOL Download page. Favtool is only needed on Internet Explorer 5.0 and down I believe. Internet Explorer 5.01 and up I believe have the import and export fuctions in the browser already. For text version simply save as text and copy and paste to where you wish. Generally this is best for those who wish to selectively pick links to add to webpages or emotes. Zipped version of both files contains the contents of both the above mentioned files, in a standard zip format. 1.7 kb Zip file. This would be useful only to those who have a zip utility, or want both files. See the above for use for the contents of these files. Here is a link to www.winzip.com if you need an Unzip utiltiy. JAVA Script versions automatically add the page to the Favorites, Bookmarks, or Start Page area on your browser. Both versions use the main page not the entrance page for the starting point. |
