Before we begin. All the files here are scanned with 2 antivirus programs that are updated at least weekly. So you need not worry about getting any virus or trojan from these programs. All of the zips here have been used by me personally, however I cannot say how they will work on other operating systems other than Windows 98. If you have Windows 3.x, 95, 98SE, ME, 2000, the operation of the programs may varry. Keep in mind it is impossible for me to know what you have installed already on your computer. I cannot predict conflicts or other problems. The software here is just provided under freeware/shareware terms. You assume all liability for use of any programs you download from this site. I am not set up to provide full time tech support for programs found here. See the docs for the program for any possible support. The programs provided here are complete and aside from being in zipped format are the same as the downloaded version found on the websites. Software availability is subject to change without notice. Geocities restrictions prevent EXE file storage and programs will only be available in ZIP format. Programs found here for download are put here because they either are not easy to find elsewhere or small. Close This Browser Window HTML Course This is a zip file (about 750k) of a small basic HTML course. It is not an authoritive end all referrence on the subject, but does provide the basics to those who are new to the world of the internet. Good starting point for those who know nothing about HTML. MP3 Encoders This is a collection of 4 zipped files that contain Blade, and Lame WAV to MP3 encoders. It also includes two nicely made Windows Interfaces for them so you do not need to go to DOS mode. They have of course been scanned for viruses, and tested for operation. DOCs and other files included within zips. Neotrace 2.1 Shareware download of the Neotrace program version 2.01. This is SHAREWARE but it is a good working version of Neotrace which I used in the past. Buttons Ok they are nothing special but they are the buttons in the style used on this site. They include several not seen here (extras) Most are all 75 or 100 pixels wide in JPEG type files. They are more or less here for those wishing to have them for webpage construction purposes. Some may require resizing depending on the button. Generally the ones you see on this site are 75 or 100 pixels and have a mouseover partner ( lit version ). Graceamp.zip Zip of Graceamp version 1.0 MP3 encoder/CD Ripper 854kb zipped, virus scanned. Works well, is free, not crippled, rips to WAV or MP3 formats. Windows install version. (freeware) DiskSpan Ever find you had to send a program to floppies and it would not fit? This little program adds a split option to Win95/98's Windows Explorer and My Computer. ( Required Visual Runtime Update 6.0 files ) File Shredder Allows break up of large files (exe and zips) to be sent by email attachement in parts. So you can email a large program without fear of getting a email refused service for the size of the attachment. Works only with Win95/98. See www.tucows.com for file utilities for KFK for a program to work with Windows 2000 & ME also. ZD Net Logo Manager. This is a neat program. It makes changing the start up, standby, and shut down screens on Windows 95/98 almost as easy as changing screen savers. ( the fact is the program is used just like you change screen savers but you need to point it to the image file you wish to use for a screen or, use none and speed thing up in many cases. ) The program is downloadable from ZD Net also if you wish to hunt it down, but it is not too easy to find there so I put a copy here. I have no idea how this program works with Windows 2000 or ME so use it at your own risk on those operating systems. Wav Codecs These are nothing more than a few CODECs commonly used but not always commonly installed for wav files. If you do not have problems with hearing WAV files now, chances are you do not need this download. If you have Windows Media Player installed changes are you do not need this download. I have no idea how well or poorly it works with Windows ME/2000... Use at your own risk there. MagicPlayer The link to ( Russia, English version ), for the download from authors website. The program is a very small ( 206kb ) skinable, media player that even has playlists. It handles the most common media also, including some Video formats. See website for details about skins and so on. divx_31alpha Is supposed to be a video codec often needed but also often overlooked. If you are having problems with video playback, I can only suggest trying this codec. I have scanned this codec but I have not attempted to install it on my computer as I do not have much problem with Video playback. I just seen this on the MagicPlayer website for video problems ( MPEG4 playback ) so I also got it for download here. Keygen for Opera 5.1x Ok, this one is a bit questionable. This is a registration key generator for Opera 5.1x which removes the ad screens for the adware download. The program is small, and just generates a key for opera after you have installed it which you copy and paste into the required spot on the opera screen, then poof no more ad screens. Of course I have scanned and tested this program on Win98. Sulfnbk Ok this is nothing more than a zip of the SULFNBK.EXE file that many may have removed due to the virus hoax. It is the Windows 98 version so if the version for Windows 95/98SE/ME/2000 is different, then this file may not work for you. My Windows build is the 1998 4.10 generation.
