Antivirus software used to scan files uploaded to this site is frequently updated to the latest virus signature files available prior to the file being uploaded. In most cases this is a weekly update, but on the primary software used it is about every other day. The primary software used is Innoculate IT PE by Computer Associates. The secondard antivirus software is Pc-Cillin by Trend Mico. Older files may also have been scanned with McAfee prior to the installation of Innoculate. The system is also checked with Housecall from time to time as well, plus the files are also tried on another system that used updated versions of Norton Antivirus. So in most cases the files have been scanned with most the popular antivirus products available prior to being uploaded. They have in most cases been run on a system that has had AdAware run as well and it has not been noticed they have added known spyware DLL files to the system. After the files are uploaded to the website in most cases they are no longer scanned unless the file is replaced with an updated version. I am sure the files I place on the site are free of infection, however I would never suggest anyone take my word for that fact. I strongly suggest you use your own antivirus software to scan the contents of any file that is added to your system before running or installing any program. Feel free to use the most current scan I know of which is Housecall by Trend Micro
which is updated daily.

If you find any file you obtain from my site to show up as infected, please contact me using this form easy_2_confuse_mi@hotmail.com and I will examine the suspect file myself at once. ( please let me know what the file name is you downloaded and the virus scanner you got the alert on ) This also holds true if you locate a spyware DLL file in the program from this site. While I can do little about the fact there are webbugs on the banners on the site, I do not attempt to track use of this site. The programs are here solely for assistance to others. I do not own the software here and in most cases it is freeware or shareware and terms about the use of it is included in with the programs here. If the downloads fail to work you may wish to wait a few hours and try again. Due to the fact this is a free host, it may be subject to bandwidth restrictions and as such files may not always be available for downloading.
