This is a short statement to explain the changes to my help pages. Recently Yahoo announced that they would no longer ( as of April 2nd 2002 ) allow free hosted sites to use FTP to upload files to the webpages. In that I was using FTP and tried to update often I found that to be unacceptable. So I have been working on closing that page in part for that reason. Additionally I have been recently attacked in several ways within the Yahoo Chat Help Rooms for what I consider little or no reason at all. These attacks include attempted boots off Yahoo, Yahoo Messnger Bombs ( send in Yahoo Messenger offline messages ), cloning of an ID in chat, several personal attacks in chat in text format, ( I do not use Voice chat at all ), and finally emails with virus payloads being sent to me in what I consider a deliberate fashion. To me this seems to be a reflection of a general degraded respect for others online. I do not care if someone does not like me or someone else but I do believe that it is acceptable to do much more than to ignore that person. Due to the loss of the Geocities site coming soon and what I feel is an uncertain future with free hosting online, I have made provisions thanks to the kindness of the webmistress of NHYRVANA.COM to provide the unique subject pages a second home that will allow them to remain viewable even if this Tripod site goes offline at some time in the future. These pages are very plain and are likely just going to stay that way as they are there just to provide the information to those who may find it useful on as little bandwidth required as possible. Changes to the webpages on this server include a lack of email address, guest book, and some other support offerings. These items are no longer offered due to the reasons already stated. There is a contact form included on the site in an attempt to prevent further abuse of my email box yet allow real contacts to be made. I will however state here and now that I make no warrenties about the speed or if I will reply to any questions placed there. If however you may put your questions into the supplied form provision here. I may find time to reply to your question if I find time, and this provision is not abused. I am indeed sorry that I have had to go to these ends but I am tired of being abused without reason. If this type of abuse continues I will have no other choice but to completely close this website. As it is I will try to add to things here as I can but I do not plan on being as active with the operations of this site as I have up to this point.
