      Sarsen Circle
The outer double ring is the Sarsen Circle, drawn up from an SS of 30 ft, giving the outer circumference of 120 MY.

The inscribed square (blue) and the Ö5 rectangle (a double square, also blue), are moved over from A to B.

The Trilithon ellipse (brown) is bounded by the overlapping of square and rectangle; and the circle (brown),  will eventually help in the construction of the Bluestone horseshoe.set within.
From centre A, equilateral triangles (green), are drawn to the outer circumference and to the Bluestone circle.

Sarsen Circle Area    With a circumference of 120 MY, the area is 1145.91559 sq.MY,
which is 3600 sq.MY /  p

Trilithon Diagram

It can now be seen that the Great Trilithon is aligned along the base of the Green Triangle, and the other Trilithons are arranged with inboard faces on the ellipse..
(NB. The position and size of the trilithons as drawn on the arcs in this rendering, is arbitrary and not exact).

Fig 3.Bluestone Horseshoe Diagram

Two Type 'A' flattened circles are constructed on the inner (brown) circle, mirror images. The arcs marked in Red form the Bluestone horseshoe.
(N.B. On the drawing it says Type 'B' flattened circles, a mistake, but I can't change it now!)

Outer Stonehenge Diagram

A square drawn inside the Heel stone circle, is tangent to the Ditch circle.

From an inscribed square of the ditch, and it's crossing points with the Aubrey circle, an octagon is formed..

This gives rise to a geometric rectangle near whose corners the Station Stones are placed. An alternative method for placing the 56 Aubrey Holes to a 99.95 % accuracy is also shown. Using an SS of 14 ft. would of course give 100% accurate spacing for the holes.

The Aubrey Circle, drawn with an SS of 30 MY, relates to the Sarsen circle drawn with an SS of 30 feet.
The SS of the Heel Circle is 150 ft.
The SS of the Ditch circle  is 75sqrt2 ft., or sqrt11250 ft., namely 106.066017+ ft.

The Sarsen circle sits within the Station stone rectangle, clear of the Station Stone sight lines.
