20 Year Reunion Recap

What a fantastic weekend!  Saturday's Golf Tournament and the breakfast started the activities.  The breakfast was a great time with Hixson's principal Nubby Napolitano giving a tour of the bigger Hixson High school, while the group enjoyed visiting and eating.   Click here to see some pictures of the breakfast.

The trade center was packed with approximately 175 familiar faces and old friends.   Several made the trip from a long way off.  Carl Betsch came from Texas, Sean O'Malley New York, and Mark Goodner from Baton Rouge.  Several teachers were also present (Coaches Martino and Underwood, Mrs. Blanchard, Junior High teacher Miss French).   The evening went by much too fast for everyone.  The social hour was highlighted by the class picture being made with everyone present packing in for the camera.  Music by Stutts played dinner music before playing many of our favorite tunes from the 70's and early 80's throughout the evening.  The award for the best table dance goes to Bill Hawkins, as he jumped up on top of one of the speakers and showed everyone how to REALLY dance.  As the evening moved on, the music got modern and the dancing got serious.  At one point we formed a long dance train and danced around the tables.  When the Trade Center lights came on, the room was still packed and many lingered to visit and catch up with old friends.   Click here to see some pictures from the banquet.

Sunday's picnic was a nice finish to a fun filled weekend. Many classmates brought their families and spent the afternoon visiting while the children swam, played, and made new friends.   Click here to see some pictures from the picnic.

The memory books should have all been received now.  A BIG thanks to Stephen and Belinda Neighbors for all their hard work in helping make these books a huge success!   They really look GREAT you two!!
