Don Taylor's Passenger Train SiteI met Don thru Rail Spot email group. He is also from Conroe, Tx. area. We have happened upon each other out on FM2854 West of Conroe chasing the same train or at the interlocker in downtown Conroe. Don lived many years very near MP66? on BNSF Conroe Sub. Now Lake Conroe is home. I have linked to his MKT site because I like the Katy. But Don's site is spell binding with sections on the Missouri Pacific,KCS Southern Belle and many more. His pages have personal pictures, memories, and excellent scans of everything from timetables to Advertisements from his collection. Don lived this era. |

TOMMY SHULTS SIDETRACK.COM
Tommy is a train enthusiast! He lives in Flatonia, Tx. On the famous "SP" Sunset Route. Now when I say lives on it, I do mean lives on it! I mean it is his side yard! And only a 1/2 block from interlocker of UP's Glidden and Flatonia Sub(Renamed Cuero Sub in 2006?). I met Tommy via phone thru a friend of his in RockPort, Tx. Fred, the owner of Rockport Hobbies. |

ANDREW D . HUDANISH'S "HOUSTON'S PREIMIER RAILFAN PAGE"
Andrew's page was the first I found about Railfaning in Houston. Probably August 14, 1999 about 10:00PM, 2 hours and 36 minutes after I became what turned out to be passionate Railroad Fan. Some ( My Wife) may say fanatic!! |
