MEMORY POWER |

What is memory? How does it work? and How can it be improved? Is it our remarkable ability to store endless amounts of information like numeric, factual, personal, experiential store in the memory bank of our minds then recall that information when we later need it. We would be literally lost without our memories. People who experience amnesia--the loss of autobiographical memories--no longer know who they are. Our Brain Management sets human beings apart from other animals. Our capacity for self-control. Our language skills. Our vast and complex social organizations.Memory is a strong mental Power that makes you remember faces, facts, figures and all that you experience and encounter all through the life. Psychologist Danial L. Schacter of Harvard University says that you neednt worry about the lapses in memory unless you experience a noticeable and consistent decline in memory or you arent able to function at work. Most of the people start fading memory at the stage when they reach the mid years of their life. Lapses of memory are normal and even patients of Diabetes and thyroid are found to be at a loss of memory which fades and regained at times. Sometimes, you dont remember the name of a person even though you sense it just beyond the grasp of your memory. You might not remember the name of a movie and such tip of the tongue which tots out incidents keep happening quite often. The best remedy for such flaws would be to stop fretting about it and take it lightly. Soon the memory is back normal again. Many times, we forget the keys and our minds go blank as we keep thinking and trying to locate it. It creates an annoying situation. People keep hinting on you and labeling you careless but than Psychologist Danial says here "Your memory power isnt failing you Rathar you didnt give your memory system the information it needed" Lack of interest can also lead to absent mindedness and broken concentration is also a cause for forgetfulness. Visual cues can also prevent absent mindedness. Some people walk or act absent mindedly and than wonder why and this is most likely because their thoughts are engrossed elsewhere. Sometimes, false memories too do work. When you are small and have witnessed a movie scene or dream, you remember after years as if the scene really happened! Memories are to be cherished, anyway. Forgetting a part means our brains did store all that we saw, read, heard but our ability is to splice together what is really necessary information and throw out the rest for better sound thinking process.
