I retired on May 31st, 1994 and moved from Boston to 5 1/4 acres in the country in Dickson County, Tennessee. I share my home with Astrid, my wife of 43 years, my daughter Kristine and her husband,  Doni. I have 4 children, Denise (North Dakota), Kathy (Massachusetts), Michael(Virginia) and Kristine. I also have 9 grandchildren, Patrick, Collin, Kyle, Callie, Katie, Frankie, Benjamin, Joshua, and Kayley.  Running on my property are 2 horses, 1 pony, 1 cat, my dog and 6 of my daughters adopted dogs.

***********************************************************************************

The Irish name Cahill is derived from the native Gaelic O'Cathail Septs of which there were several, based mainly in Counties Galway, Kerry and Tipperary. It is in these Counties that the majority of descendants can still be found. The name is taken from a word meaning 'valour'.
