IN WHAT EXCEPTIONAL EVENTS HAS THE AMBULANCE BEEN ACTIVE DURING THE PAST FEW YEARS?

In the past the medical team has treated numerous civil and military occurrences. Here are a few examples:

  1. A terrorist attack on the road at the “Pduel” junction. An I.D.F. soldier was killed.

  2. A shooting incident at the “Eli” junction in which two soldiers was killed.

  3. A large number of instances where civil and military cars were stoned at and as a result passenger were wounded.

  4. The ambulance and crew serve as medical back up at official ceremonies that take place locally in the surrounding areas - for example - Memorial Day and Independence Day ceremonies, soldiers’ funerals and others.

  5. Evacuation of sick or injured soldiers from I.D.F bases located nearby.

  6. Evacuation of woman in labor. In the past years, 6 babies have been delivered in ambulances.
