The west side of the pond is a little different. To stretch the most pond out of the available liner it got a steeper edge. It is especially hard to keep Dottie away from the frogs and she kept pushing the rocks to the bottom. To solve this we covered the edge with hardware cloth and then colored cement with the rocks embedded into it. Rocks and sand were added in front to make a beach to plant the water lilies, cattail and water plantain.
