The Curse of the Gorgons
By Noelerin

This is after "The Curse of The Gorgons." I will be trying to focus more on Bryn and how she might have felt about her role in this one.

Bryn sat in her cabin, wet hair pulled up into a towel. She smiled as she thought of how good that bath felt. *Of all of Firouz's inventions, that is my favorite. Especially after a day like today. Thinking of today's events, she sighed and pulled out her diary. It was nice to have a place to put her thoughts down, it helped her out tremendously as she pieced together the missing pieces of her life. So far there had been nothing concrete only feelings, but she knew that sooner or later everything would work out for the best.

Diary,

I learned today that the guys really trust me. There was a young man whose village was under attack by the Gorgons, I wanted to help them. Sinbad looked at me with those trusting eyes of his and asked if I really wanted to do this. I nodded, he never even asked the others if doing this was what they wanted-we just went. It was at about this time that I felt like I was a valued member of the crew, not just someone who was tagging along with them just because Master Dim-Dim told them I would be a powerful asset in their fight. It was an incredible feeling to know that I really was a part of this family.

Unfortunately, my choice nearly caused us to lose Sinbad. Eurali met us in a bar and charmed him, but he was able to pull himself away from her 'charms.' I guess she didn't know about how our rainbow bracelets alert us to danger. We arrived in time to see her beheaded, it was at that point that I knew it was the gorgon sisters. Sadly, the villagers didn't want to help us defeat the other two. In fact, I believe that they only about Eurali and the Strange One. Then one of the trusted counsel men turned out to be working for Medusa herself! *sigh* Days like today make me glad that I have a family to turn to, I think the town realized that as well because they came and helped us fight her in the end.

Yours, Bryn

She sighed and put the diary away, she picked up her comb and began to untangle her hair. After her hair was fixed, she stood up and blew out the candle. Pulling back the covers, she crawled in and let the gentle motion of the ship rock her to sleep

The End. Tell me what you think, please?
