| A single story brick
building stands in a small town in Idaho called Genesee. Weird
sounds and other strange happenings seem to occur at this house,
especially for the Joyce family. Sara Joyce moved in with her
daughter and grandmother, from the time they moved in they knew
something was wrong with the house.
The house was built in 1880 and was used for many different
things. At one time it was a museum for crystals and other Indian
artifacts. A strange old man appeared in Sara’s room and yelled
"Do you see me?" Sara was terrified, yet that was
only the beginning. Her son Bill tried remodeling the house once
and found spirits interfering with his work, not allowing him to
finish. Once he saw a ghost of a rat lying on the kitchen floor,
he thought his eyes must be deceiving him. Later he found a dead
rat underneath the floor board, this time it was real. Other
strange things continued to happen there.
Once a friend of the
family decided to stay the night on the floor of one of the rooms,
she was awakened by a female with long, dark hair slowly climbing
into the sleeping bag with her. She decided never to stay in
the house again. Sara’s daughter still owns the house today.
