  • May 11th 1999 -This is something I've had posted in the REMEDY PROFILE Section, I got it out of the Rolling Stones Artical...

REMEDY's logo is the Star of David, with the Wu-Tang "W" in the middle

  • May 1st 1999 -YO! I love this mugg! Not because of the news below, but because I'm really feelin' REMEDY!! I can't get the tape out of my tape deck!! Aight..check it...in some of my news, and other sites, we all have Remedy's father is a Lawyer, well...after typing out that Rolling Stones Artical, I found out, that...

"...he's totally from 'around the way(Remedy): In the late Eighties, he attended Staten Island's racially mixed New Drop High School, the alma mater of Wu clansmen Method Man and Raekwon, as well as members of the underground rap crew GP Wu."

"He's part of a wealthy and well-connected Staten Island family: His Uncle owns Atalanta, a multinational food-distribution corporation, and his father is a powerful real estate mogul who agented the purchase of the Wu Tang's New Jersey Wu Mansion. Remedy also counts numerous Cornell University alumni among his relatives, and many of his kin are valuable political contributors. In other words, when he boast of 'money stashed in Switzerland' on his indie single 'Seen It All,' he's not kidding"

Now remember, this is his family...back in the days, Remedy use to sling drugs and shit....you'll have to check out the whole artical to get all that, thought.... click here

  • April 24th 1999 -Shout-out to Sword X, for hookin' me up with this sweet info....

    REMEDY
    Real Name : R. Filler
Remedy is one of the newer Wu-Fam members, he has had one single so far, 'Seen It All/Everything Is Real', which was released on Fifth Angel Records. During the majority of 1997, people were asking many questions about Remedy, but the majority of them were not about his music, people mainly asked about the color of his skin, is he white, black...? It is known that he is white, and jewish as well. This should put to rest the rumour that the clan are racist towards white people. Back to the music, Remedy's album, "Word To Live By" (that's official title) is slated for a late '99 - early 2000 release, as for production, it'll be handled by The RZA (three tracks), 4th Disciple and Remedy himself (who actually produced his debut 12"). As for the mic holders besides Remedy they are Raekwon and Killarmy. Many people think that Remedy is son of RZA's lawyer. Remedy is also on album "RZA presents... - The Swarm vol.1" with the song called "Never Again". It's a tale of his Jewish heritage with a bangin self produced track and great lyrics. Also there are rumors about Remedy's problems of not being accepted by several group-members of Wu-Tang. In the February '99 edition of the "Rolling Stone" magazine there is an article on white rappers and there is a lot of stuff on Remedy there : pics, info and news.He was on "Mtv Nordic" when they did a report about white rappers and they showed him in the studio recording a song called "Love is Love" that sounded pretty tight. Remedy may be doing some work on one or two songs on Inspecta Deck first solo album. Also guests on the album are LA The Darkman, Killa Sin, Remedy and Street Life. He was on song called "Anthem" with Killarmy.

  • April 8th 1999 -In a few days, I'm going to add that rolling stone artical, white rappers that don't suck, that talks about remedy, ect... including the picture!

  • March 24th 1999 -remedy has finished his first album and it's rumored to drop this summer! no specific date was given...

  • February 25th 1999 -rza said that shit wasn't always nice. he said about remedy's problems of not being accepted by several group-members. and killarmy had a fistfight with black knights. in the end, rza said, "niggaz shake hands".

  • February 4th 1999 -"blaze" got an interview with inspectah deck about his album. only real info is that remedy is rhymin' on the album, and production will be mainly by deck, with more by rza, true master, mathmatics and 4th disciple.

  • February 1st 1999 -in the latest edition of the "rolling stone" magazine there is an article on white rappers who don't suck and there is alot of stuff on remedy there. pics, info and news. the article sats his album is sheduled for a release this spring. speaking of remedy, he was on "mtv nordic" yesterday when they did a report about white rappers and they showed remedy in the studio recording a song called "love is love" that sounded pretty tight.

  • September 27th 1998 -here is some info about inspecktah deck taken from an interview on loud.com: he is on a track produced by havoc on meth's upcoming album. on his upcoming album, "uncontrolled substance", true master produced the track "longevity" and remedy also produced one track.
