This two-owner car, acquired in 1969 from an estate, was one of seven Continental Mark IIs sold new in Iowa.  It is also one of seven made with code 02-1A1A and air-conditioned.  A parent of one of my former students had seen this car in 1956 on the showroom floor and was impressed by the gold plated star hood ornament, a dealer installed item.
