Ninch

Ninch was the leader of his band of circus dwarves, along with Scooter. Money-driven and sick of being thought of as a freak, he saw his spying on the Borribles as a road to an easier life. Life among them changed him none; if anything, it drove him to desperation to get back to his normal life. He even took this so far as to assemble his own army of dwarves to go after the adventurers without police help and harm his best friend who had begun to sympathize with the Borribles.

Scooter

Scooter was Ninch's second in command who got dragged along with him. However, he enjoyed life acting as a Borrible and would have continued on indefinitely had Ninch not pressured him to leave. Much more innocent and childlike than Ninch, he was suited better to it in any case, and didn't view money as the only way to a better life. In the end, he chooses to do what he thinks is right and in the process becomes something that no one ever has before...
