KNocker Burnthand

  Knocker was chief lookout for Battersea until he and his roommate Lightfinger found the Rumble digging in Battersea Park that spurred the chain of events leading to the Rumble Hunt. Selfish and obsessed with personal glory, Knocker's sole ambition was to gain as many names as he could, as quickly as possible. He manages with the help of his house steward Spiff to get onto the Rumble Hunt despite already having a name, and immediately alienates Napoleon Boot. Out of all the Adventurers, he becomes closest to Adolf and Chalotte, though eventually he and Napoleon reconcile their differences. Over the course of this and subsequent adventures, he is fed a very hard lesson that fame is not worth sacrificing the safety of his friends, nor their love, nor their lives.
