Twilight doesn't show up until the second book, when he and his friends rescue Chalotte from police custody. Not having the experience of the Rumble Hunt behind him, he is always more naive and eager for adventure than the others. Several times he threatens to dub himself 'Twilight Trekker'- but despite having earned a second name several times over, he never formally takes it. Twilight tends to get swept up in the excitement of things instead of thinking a course of action through, but never really becomes any kind of liability to the group. Although it was through Chalotte that he met the others, he isn't any closer to her than any of the others. Twilight was born in London but is ethnically Bangladeshi, and gets quite pissy when people assume he's Pakistani.
