An Analysis of the Attack of the Pentagon

We ask all that read this report to copy it and send a copy to every public official you know. Send it return receipt requested and demand a response as to what action they intend to take to force an independent investigation into the events of 9-11-01.
The events of September 11, 2001 are undeniably and inarguably the most significant acts of terrorism and aggression ever perpetrated against this country. It is indisputable that the three destructive occurrences at the World Trade Center's north tower, south tower and the Pentagon, were well-planned, orchestrated and coordinated events and are inescapably tied to one another. It is safe to say that the guilty parties would do anything to remain cloaked in secrecy and will create "rabbit trails" to divert attention away from significant information as they attempt to cover-up and obfuscate any data that would lead to their discovery. Additionally, those guilty would of course make every attempt to discredit or otherwise destroy the credibility of anyone who might raise revealing questions. To expose one of these entities involved in this deception would be a most significant and vital clue that could reveal the perpetrators of these events.
At the outset, it is safe to assume that this paper and analysis will most likely be looked upon as the most outrageous and delusional proposal ever conceived, the product of the most extreme of conspiracy theorists, or it may provoke the reader to think beyond the intellectual boundries which have been imposed by the daily repetitions of the "conventional wisdom" of governmental agencies and the mainstream media. The approach of this investigation is simply to ask questions and utilize common sense as the facts and evidence are compared to what has been purported by "official" sources.
Many readers are naturally be inclined to gravitate toward the former when confronted with ideas considered "outside the box", therefore it is necessary to define the phrase "conspiracy theory".
The term "conspiracy theory" consists of two words, the active word being "theory". By definition, a theory is a concept, an idea, a proposal, a supposition. Example: "In theory, if I purchase a raffle ticket, I could win the prize." However, once the first ticket is purchased, winning is no longer a theory, but rather a possibility. The more tickets that are purchased, the more possible and eventually probable the win becomes.
The same can be said about a conspiracy theory. As long as there is no evidence to support the conspiracy theory, it remains a theory. Once however there is one piece of evidence to support the theory, no matter how flimsy or circumstantial it may be, the conspiracy is no longer a theory, but a possibility! And the more evidence there is that is gathered, the more possible and eventually probable the conspiracy becomes.
There is no disputing that an explosive event large enough to demolish a portion of the Pentagon occurred on the morning of Sept. 11, 2001. For argument sake, let's take the approach of a police investigator or a detective as we begin to attempt to solve this crime. Using this perspective, we will only deal with known facts and the available photographic evidence to determine the validity of the reports and explanations of media and government officials.
Media News Reports
With this in mind let us now look at the report of a plane hitting the Pentagon on the morning of September 11, 2001. As reported, at 8:10 AM EST, Flight 77 departed Dulles International Airport bound for Los Angeles, California, a distance of almost 2700 miles. It was also reported that the Boeing 757 slammed into the northwest face of the Pentagon at 9:40 AM, destroying three of its five rings. If, as investigators, we had come upon a crime scene such as the Pentagon, the first task would be to examine the building and surrounding area, and employ common sense and the available evidence to support the "theory" of a Boeing 757 hitting the building.
The first and most important task after arriving at the scene of a crime would be to examine the plane wreckage and determine the point of impact, the trajectory, angle and speed of the aircraft at the point of impact. There is only one problem. There is no trace of recognizable wreckage from a Boeing 757! There is no fuselage, no tail section, there are no wheels, engines, wings, luggage or passenger seats, nor are there any bodies to be found. This leads us to our first and foremost question, if a Boeing 757 crashed into the Pentagon as was reported by the media and government officials, where did it go? What evidence is there to support the theory of an airliner careening into the building?
According to Boeing, the 757 has a wingspan of 124 ft., 10 in., an overall length of 155 ft., 3 in., a tail height of 44 ft., 6 in., and the maximum fuel capacity is 11,489 gallons. With these statistics in mind let's begin our examination of the photographic evidence.

Well, the hammer has finally struck.
Several months ago, I wrote a column in which I described the strategy the establishment would use to attack Ron Paul's candidacy:
The first step is already in play. The establishment will start by simply ignoring him, by using its power in the mainstream media and their influence over campaign donors. If possible, they will find ways of excluding him from the debates.
This strategy is already failing. The internet and talk radio are outside the elite's direct control and are being used effectively by Rep. Paul to "get the message out." (And mark my words, sooner or later the oligarchy will come for the internet. This medium has been a royal pain in their derriere from day one.)
If this strategy fizzles, the establishment will move on to ridicule and fear mongering. Ron's ideas will be grotesquely distorted in establishment media "hit pieces." They'll say he wants to permit heroin use in public schools, or that he wants old people to die in the streets without their social security checks, or that he wants to allow greedy industrialists to dump toxic waste into our drinking water.
The next arrow in the oligarchy's quiver will be scandal � real or fabricated. Usually, this takes the form of pictures, billing records, etc. involving financial or sexual hi-jinks. For folks with the right motivation and abilities, it would be child's play to implicate him in some sort of phony ethical, moral, or financial skullduggery (e.g., doctored pictures, sordid media accounts from "eyewitnesses," etc.)
Since the first two tactics met with limited success, they predictably moved on to the third (scandal) in the form of a scurrilous article in The New Republic. In that screed, James Kirchick accused Rep. Paul of authoring a series of articles that insulted blacks, gays, and a myriad of other "groups."
Ron responded quickly. In a Reason interview, he noted that he did not write the articles in question and did not edit them. To his credit, he did take moral responsibility for inadequately policing the content of a newsletter associated with his name.
What is particularly nauseating about this hit-piece is the host of glaring double standards it represents.
James Kirchick is a prototypical neocon and a supporter of Rudy Giuliani's candidacy for president. Rudy has been, from the start, a staunch supporter of Bush's "War on Terror," including the invasion of Iraq.
That invasion was conceived long before 9/11 and has taken the lives of somewhere between five hundred thousand and a million Iraqi civilians. Nearly four thousand American soldiers have been killed and tens of thousands more are physically and/or emotionally crippled. Our nation's reputation has been soiled, perhaps irrevocably.
As has been exhaustively documented, that war was launched in a fog of lies, propaganda, and fabricated intelligence.
So now, five years into the war, we are forced to endure an attack by these same neocons, who are accusing the one viable antiwar candidate of...what?
Even if Ron Paul wrote every word in every one of those articles, how does that compare to the death and destruction the neocons have rained down on Iraq? It takes unimaginable chutzpah, nearly pathological gall, to stand amid mounds of smoking corpses and accuse Rep. Paul of cultural insensitivity.
Has America become so politically egocentric, so utterly consumed with its own cultural fetishes, that we could tolerate watching those who perpetrated the Iraq atrocity (or who supported it) smear a decent man for inadequately supervising a newsletter?
If Ron Paul's candidacy is now tainted for (allegedly) slandering people of color, what should be the political punishment for Giuliani, McCain, Romney, and others who supported mass death and dismemberment of a third world country?
Even though I anticipated this sort of thing, it is infuriating to watch it unfold before my eyes.
Are we to be spared nothing?
In a very fundamental way, there are really only two candidates running for president this year: Ron Paul, and all the others.
This is because there are really only two issues at stake.
The first issue is our out-of-control foreign policy. America is embroiled in shooting wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. We spend more on our military than nearly the rest of the world combined. We have troops stationed in over a hundred foreign countries. Manic interventionism has stretched our military to the breaking point, and has ruined our nation's reputation.
The second issue is our impending economic implosion. Our government, which has shed the last vestiges of constitutional restraint, has made a myriad of promises that it cannot keep. Our outstanding obligations to fund social security, government health care programs, and everything else under the sun are rapidly bankrupting our nation. To maintain these Ponzi schemes, the Fed is debasing our currency and igniting an ugly bout of hyperinflation.
Our predicament is severe and profound. We must immediately begin to shed our overseas obligations and put our domestic house in order. Otherwise, we will find ourselves reenacting the collapse of the Soviet Union right here at home.
Ron Paul is the only candidate who is willing to address these issues. He is the only one who is willing to speak frankly with the American people about our predicament and the painful actions which must be taken to prevent a real catastrophe.
And rather than offering solutions, Obama, McCain, Clinton and Romney, (and the other political hacks running for president) are not even willing to talk honestly about the problems.
As I noted in the previous article, the reason for this is simple: The establishment benefits from the status quo and would be disempowered by Ron Paul's proposed solutions.
Specifically, as I noted in that previous article, Ron Paul is running on three ideas:
The federal government must function within the strict guidelines of the Constitution.
America should deconstruct its empire, withdraw our troops from around the world and reestablish a foreign policy based on noninterventionism.
America should abolish the Federal Reserve Bank, eliminate fiat currency and return to hard money.
This is not a political agenda. This is not a party platform. It is a revolution. The entire ruling oligarchy would be swept away if these ideas were ever implemented. Every sentence, every word, every jot and tittle of this agenda is unacceptable, repellent and hateful to America's ruling elite.
So let us all be forewarned. If Ron Paul's candidacy should rise to serious contention, that New Republic hit piece will be mild compared to whatever comes next.

Bogus Neocon Terror War Costs $6,000 Per Second

Whenever the Bush administration balks at spending money on some needed issue, I always mention on my blog that the Iraq war is costing us 11 million dollars per hour.
I am embarrassed to admit that this figure is wrong. I apologize. It has recently come to light that the Iraq war (plus Afghanistan, a trivial amount by comparison) is actually costing us 20 million dollars per hour .
This new amount was revealed by The Washington Post just the other day, but I have seen precious little mention of it, either in the MSM or on the blogs. I posted about it on my own blog , and was met by the usual and expected troops of equivocators. Remember folks, until we attacked Iraq, there was no connection between that country and terrorism (except, of course, for the very conscious and deliberate conflation of the two by the Bush administration).
So what does 20 megabucks an hour really mean? For one thing, it means we are spending nearly $6,000 every second in Iraq (and Afghanistan, but note that it only gets about 1/5 of the total money, while Iraq gets the other 4/5). In the time it takes you to read this paragraph, if you read moderately quickly, we'll have spent over $50,000. That's comfortably more than the median income of an individual American last year .
I poked around the web a bit to see what this kind of money would fund, but it's almost impossible for the mind to grasp the enormity, the numbingly colossal nature of this expenditure.
The money we spend in Iraq in about 40 minutes would feed one million needy American families for a month . The amount we spend on Iraq in two weeks would give NASA enough money to design, build, launch, and use a Hubble-type telescope for a decade (which includes paying the army of engineers and scientists who would run it). One month worth of Iraq would buy � outright � nearly 23,000 homes in San Francisco , the priciest market in the country.
One hour in Iraq � one short hour, the amount of time I spent putting this blog entry together � could buy over one hundred thousand computers for children in third world nations. An hour and a half would fund Human Rights Watch for a year.
I could go on and on, and you can go right ahead and calculate the numbers for your own favorite cause. But before you go, I want to point out the elephant in the room on this issue.
Where did this number come from? Who calculated that the War on Terror is costing us 20 million dollars every hour, of every day, for the foreseeable future?
Why, it was Ted Stevens , Senator Intertubes his own self.
And why did he release this number? Because he wants more funding for the war .
C'mon, folks. This thing is expensive . Pitch in! We only need 20 million of you to throw a buck in every hour. After all, what else do you have to spend it on?

Ron Paul: Neocons Will Bomb Iran
Despite a recent National Intelligence Estimate finding that Iran has halted its nuclear weapons program, libertarian-leaning GOP presidential contender Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) says there is still "a great possibility" of US military action against the country.Appearing on MSBNC's Morning Joe , Paul described what he characterized as a deteriorating situation on the ground in Iraq and Afghanistan, and said the US was preparing to kickstart yet another conflict — this time in Iran.
"It is getting worse over there," he said. "Afghanistan is getting worse. Turkey is bombing Iraq. And Pakistan is blowing up and we're getting ready to bomb Iran. A bunch of those neocons want to bomb Iran."
Asked how the US could justify military action against Iran in the wake of the National Intelligence Estimate — which determined that the country hadn't actively pursued a nuclear weapon since 2003 — Paul said he didn't think the report would do much to deter a strike.
"I think it's a great possibility. Read Seymour Hersh. He is the expert over there," said Paul of the Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist, who has previously reported that the US is preparing a preemptive strike against Iran.
"And the Iranian Revolutionary Guard has been declared a terrorist organization for the purpose of them being the targets rather than had the nuclear power plants," Paul said. "So, wait and see… there are still quite a few neoconservatives that want to go after Iran under these unbelievable conditions."
Concluded Paul, "That is the absurdity of the whole mess we have in there…stay out of entangling alliances, stay out of nation building. We ought to just get out of that place."
