(Nashville) -- Happily transplanting her career to be closer to the Texas music scene, Audium artist DANNI LEIGH kicked up dust with Asleep At The Wheels� Ray Benson at the recent film premiere of the Jonathan Demme movie �The Truth About Charlie,� in Austin.

The premiere party, attended by more than 400 industry and locals, kicked off the events surrounding the Austin Film Festival in style�with country music! DANNI kept the scene traditional with renditions of �Your Cheatin� Heart,� �Swingin� Doors,� and �It Wasn�t God That Made Honky Tonk Angels. DANNI�s current album project on Audium �DIVIDE & CONQUER,� also bows to tradition�making breakout noise throughout the Texas scene DANNI now calls home.

I know it has been a while since we sent you news on Danni, so I wanted to take a few minutes and get everyone caught up.

DANNI LEIGH SURPRISED WITH SPECIAL GIFT FROM FAN CLUB

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Audium recording artist Danni Leigh received a special gift from her fan club last night at her Exit/In show in Nashville. Several members of her fan club, known as "The Chain Gang," presented Leigh with a laptop computer.

"We all got together and decided that since she just moved to Austin, and knowing all the time she would be spending on the road, a laptop would be a great way for her to communicate with her fans," said Bob Bien, leader of The Chain Gang.

Leigh, who was emotionally moved by the gift, said, �Never in my life have I seen people give so much. You all are incredible.� Leigh added, �I guess I have to learn how to use it now. Dale Watson said he would teach me, so I�ll be in Dale Watson Computer Class 101 next week.�

Leigh's second single just released from her current CD, Divide & Conquer, is �House of Pain.�
