As a music teacher I often meet musicians who play really well by ear but can't read music, guitarists who don't
know what the chords they are playing are called or what chords go with what scales and keys.

So how does this correspondence on-line course work? My aim is to keep things simple and personal working
out with you an individual course that starts where your at and moves at whatever pace you can handle! You can even
sit theory exams if you want to through the Royal Schools of music who hold exams in almost every country around the world.
Join the tutoring group for $30 US per month and this is how things go:
I will contact you by e-mail to discuss what you already know and what you want to larn. You will then
get a weekly lesson in the tutor room chat room with handouts that you can download before the lesson or that I can e-mail
to you, or the lesson may be based on a chapter of a recommended workbook. You can e-mail me with questions any-time.
It would be helpful if have access to a scanner so that you can e-mail work to me to mark, but you can use traditional mail
if you have no scanner available but it does slow the process down a bit. Workbook prices are not included in the tutor
fee as I use a variety of different books and would choose the one that best suits you that you can easily obtain in your
area. Exam entry fees are also not included in the fee as these are different in each country and as they are an independent
examining body you would have to enter yourself in your local area.
