The Players

This was originally for a MotS game. See below for differnces if you are playing in JK. Much of this is role playing. There needs to be a minium of 4 players to do this. One to be the Jedi Master, one to be the Jedi Masters apprentice, one to be the Dark Jedi Master, and one to be the Dark Jedi apprentice. The Jedi Masters lead and dictate battle tactics (like when we will attack and how will we attack). You can have more than 4 players, but they must always be in even numbers like 6 or 8. This is to make sure no one side has an advantage of numbers. There can only be one Jedi Master and one Dark Jedi Master. All others must be evenly divdied into apprentices on either side. The Jedi Master and Dark Jedi Master should use the highest setting, level 8 I think. All the apprentcies must be sucessively lower in rank. Start with the first apprentice being just below in rank of the Master, and the next one just below in rank from the first apprentice, ect. On the jedi side it forces the stronger team members to defend the weaker team members, though allow in return having greater numbers in a fight, this promotes team work and a sense of companionship you would find in a real jedi academy. It is also logical for the sith side too, because it keeps the weaker apprentices from challengeing the master, ussually leaving only the most powerful dark jedi apprentice to have a chance against his master. All players must be jedi and must use sabers only. Use of the Force is optional. Also Jedi Master and Dark Jedi Master must decide on a certian area of the level to be their medatation rooms. The Medatation Rooms are simply home based for the respective teams. It is where the respective Masters are most of the time. And a central focus of attack. It is also a meeting place for apprentice to train with their masters. Here deactivating ones lightsaber in these rooms is a sign of trust that you won't attack each other, done bettween Masters and apprentices, or Masters if they choose to meet.

Before the Level

Before the level begins you all should agree on who will be the Jedi Master and the Dark Jedi Master and who will be whose apprentice. Dark jedi masters should use dark red sabers and their apprentice the lighter red or purple. The Jedi Master should use a green light saber and jedi apprentices should use blue lightsabers. This is simply to help understand who is who in fights. Also depending on what side you are on you should choose the appropriate force powers.


Force Power Listings

Here is a list of who should have what powers. Jedi master is allowed to have: Force Jump, Force Projection, Force Seeing, Force Speed, Force Push, Force Pull, Lightsaber Throwing, Force Farsight, Persausion, Force Healing, Force Blinding, Force Absorb, and Force Protection.

A Dark Jedi master is allowed to have: Force Jump, Force Projection, Force Seeing, Force Speed, Force Push, Force Pull, Lightsaber Throwing, Force Farsight, Force Grip, Force Lightning, Force Destruction, and Force Deadly Sight.

A Jedi Apprentice is allowed to have: Force Jump, Force Projection, Force Seeing, Force Speed, Force Push, Force Pull, Lightsaber Throwing, Force Farsight, Persausion, Force Healing.

A Dark Jedi Apprentice is allowed to have: Force Jump, Force Projection, Force Seeing, Force Speed, Force Push, Force Pull, Lightsaber Throwing, Force Farsight, Force Grip.

Challenges

A Dark Jedi Apprentice may challenge the Dark Jedi Master. He/she should announce this to everyone so they will know what is going on. When the challenge is issued all other fighting is to stop, and everyone meet togeather to see the fight, the other Dark jedi apprentices and the Jedi Master and his Apprentices should not interfere or attack, simply watch. If the Dark Jedi Master is defeated the Apprentice takes his place as Dark Jedi Master. When the Former Dark Jedi Master respawns he will have to be a dark jedi apprentice. If the Dark Jedi Master wins, the losing apprentice can either return as a apprentice (if the dark jedi Master wishes) and he/she will then have to obey the whims of all other dark jedi apprentices too, because they are now the lowest kind of dark jedi. Or they may (by their own will or if the dark jedi master drives him/her out)try to start their own dark jedi group and try to intice others to join him as his/her apprentices. Jedi Apprentices don't challege the Jedi master.

Conversions

A Jedi Apprentice or Dark Jedi Apprentice may decide to convert to the other side of the force. The wish to change sides must be sent out to all players. If a jedi apprentice decides to join the darkside, the jedi master must first try to verbally convince him to return to the lightside. If the jedi apprentice refuses, the jedi apprentice must attack the jedi master. The battle is to the death. Regardless of who wins the former jedi apprentcie will now join the darkside. If a darkjedi apprentice chooses to join the lightside, he can either fight the Dark Jedi Master and all his apprentices at once, or simply flee to the Jedi Masters medatation room. Either way he/she will now join the lightside.

For JK version of play

Basically follow the same rules as above. Dark Jedi Masters should only use darkside or neutral powers and the Jedi Masters can only use lightside or neutral powers. Apprentices should only use force powers appropriate to their side, though if they are low enough on the ranking scale choosing both light and darkside powers is alright, it just show indecision on the part of that apprentice to which side of the force they wish to belong to.

Notes on Future Patches and or levels

In the future I will make a patch, that will work with special levels made especially for this to handel this. When the level/patch thing is completed you should do as suggested above but enter the levels all as kyles. Then in special rooms in the levels you enter and you will be given and appropriate skin/model saber color and force powers. For example, you are choosen to be the Dark Jedi Master, you start the level as kyle with no force powers assigned. You walk into the Dark Jedi Master room and you are given a darth sidious or emperor palptine skin a dark red saber and a host of power darkside! There will also be specific rooms for dark jedi apprentices, Jedi Masters, and lightside apprentices. All of you would start in a lobby with the appropriate rooms near by. All of you should be Kyle with out force powers. And enter the appropriate room and once you are tranformed you will be teleported to the level, into you're appropriate medatation rooms.
