Why I Love South Florida:I think about this from time to time, usually on the highway as I speed North or South, from Miami to West Palm Beach. I love South florida for the very reasons some people hate it...it's loud, commercial, full of people speaking everything but English. It is always under construction, there's no tradition or business or school that goes back further than the 20th century. There are more restaurants here than I can even try before I die, and even though many of them truly suck there are many others that are great. The roads go straight here, for the most part, not winding like every road in Southern Ohio, where I'm from. |
