Kitch, 93, of Litchfield, formerly of Springfield, died at 1:45 p.m. Monday at the Barry Care Center in Litchfield. She was an art teacher at Lanphier High School for many years. Preceding her in death were 2 brothers and 1 sister. She was a graduate of the Art Institute of Chicago. She was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Litchfield; Retired Teachers of Illinois; D. A. R.; Illinois Museum Society; and Sangamon County Historical Society. She is survived by a sister Alice Fleming of Litchfield. Private services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Meinschein Funeral Home, Litchfield, and burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.


        She was a retired medical secretary for Commonwealth Edison and a member of the Berwyn Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star and Daughters of the Revolution.

        Survivors include two nieces Maris Spires and Candace Eiler, and a nephew, Stanley Smith.
